LINK FOR THE PDF I MENTION: file:///C:/Users/themo/Downloads/Preparing%20Your%20Baby%20for%20Child%20Care.pdf You can copy and paste it into your browser to get it to work. You might need to use a laptop/computer to be able to copy the text. Hope it helps!!

I'm thinking of enrolling my 6 month old son in daycare and these tips really helped, especially the self soothe one. It's what we've been struggling with but we're working on it now. I love your delivery and it really helps me feel more knowledgable going into the idea of daycare.

Great video, my baby girl is high needs and I’m super nervous about her starting daycare in two weeks. I’m nervous that they may kick her out because she loves to be held and cry’s a lot... is this something I should worry about??? My anxiety is through the roof. I just really don’t want her to be the problem baby ya know!

The entire 5 years I worked in daycare I've only witnessed two children be asked to leave my daycare center, and both were older children with violent behaviors ❤ Daycare teachers 100% expect that a child who has never been in daycare before is going to be very anxious and clingy and need lots of extra comfort and love. There is no way they'll kick her out for needing more attention ❤ I totally get your anxiety though. It's so scary leaving your baby somewhere new. Voice all those thoughts to your baby's teacher! Ask if it would be okay to get a couple pictures of her throughout the day to calm your mommy heart. It usually takes a few weeks for babies to adjust to daycare life too, so keep that in mind if she has a rough start!

Thank you for this information. I direct a center and I am going to show your video to my infant teachers. I had trouble finding the pdf link from your former boss. Can you help me find that resource? Thank you again.

That's terrible 😔 maybe search for a new daycare? I'm working in daycare part time now and parents are allowed in our building.

After seeing so much abuse in daycare centers, it’s not worth the risk. Being away from my kids was detrimental to their emotional wellbeing as well. If I had to use a daycare it would only be at an age where my child could tell me what’s going on. My personal opinion only and im not saying all daycare workers are abusing children! At least send a hidden voice recorder or something to make sure their safe. Godbless you all!

I definitely understand the concern ❤️ I was able to trust my tiny son in daycare because I worked in the daycare and visited him often, and his teacher was also wonderful and sent me text updates and pictures. The text updates are something I talk about in my videos and I think that can give parents a lot of peace. A voice recorder is going to be noticed by a teacher and is really insulting. There are daycare centers that have a live feed camera in the classroom if you need to have constant visual on your child ❤️ the daycare horror stories are not the majority of what daycares are like. I worked for 5 year and 2 facilities and there was no abuse in any of our classrooms.
