Does this work for smart keys? I saw you selected no on this model. But my 2014 is a Smart key vehicle allegedly dealer only

so if you havent got a blank key..you cannot get the pass:)))...not a good solution

So I followed all the steps got the key to unlock/lock and start but not with button 4 keys later still no good so what's the deal. Proximity key 2007 sl550 w230k push start on shifter can anyone give some hints here called autel and wrong key was their answer. I tested frequency and was receiving signal from car and signal from key was being sent out but car did not detect key to start. Anybody ever came across something like that.

Your key must be a Keyless Go, not the standard keys we use for normal MB. Also when programming, at some point Autel IM608/IM508 asks if the key is a smart key. The answer here is yes, so that the programmer knows what type of a file version will use on the new key. I had a customer who had a Mercedes with Smart key (keyless go) and lost it. He had a second key but the fob was not a Keyless go, so he couldn't use it with the START/STOP button, but he could remove the Start/Stop button from the EIS, insert the key and start the car the normal way. Remote was also working. I hope this help in any way.

@@jorgemat8080 keyless Go is the name MB gives to the proximity feature . Keyless Start is the name for non-proximity keys

@@macartur66 sorry for keeping this going. At first I had a regular key then I bought a key that states is for proximity and it is a proximity key I tested it. Now I heard that there is another step to make the proximity work with the push start, I called autel since I'm using the im608pro and just got the wrong key answer. Everything in car is working fine but if still says key not detected, after the key is properly programmed and starts and unlocks the car. Is there any way to turn keyless go on and off that might be off. Man this is making me scratch my head. I know I have the right key signal is being sent out from car and from key when I press the start button. Thank you so much for all your replies.

@@jorgemat8080 How do you know that that is a KeylessGo key? I have not been able to get one so far. They are very hard to get. I haven’t programmed any KeylessGo key yet because I haven’t been able to get one. Usually when you program a proximity key you have to do an extra step to enable the proximity features but with MB I don’t know how. It seems that the only way to get a Keyless Go key is from a MB dealership. Xhorse have one but it can only be programmed with an Xhorse programmer
