- Car Fully Warmed Up
- Traction/ESC Fully Off
- Dynamic Mode
- S Transmission Mode
- Adequate Braking Pressure

Love it. The first couple times I “launched” my S5, I didn’t go into Sport mode. When I figured out I was doing it wrong, the first time I launched with AMAX was crazy. It feels like the car leaps forward with every shift

Just installed Stage 1 ecu /stage 2 tcu today on my B9 S4 and wow ! Is there advanced launch control feature where you can set rpm and turn on max fans with cruise control ? If not what is next in the developent stack

I have noticed that all of these videos used vehicles with the digital dash. Do the cars with the analog gauges have the same sport diff that allows the launch control?

You do not need sport diff for launch control. This functions the same if you've got analog gauges as well.

Can you elaborate on letting the RPMs settle and the Upswing method? Does this mean letting off the brake after building sufficient boost? Just flashed my ECU/TCU to stage 1.

The upswing method would mean launching before full torque is reached. The RPM's will settle once full torque is reached.

On my SQ5 when launching do I depress the gas pedal down all the way or just before it engages the downshift switch under the pedal?

From all the descriptions I see the car needs to have the traction control in the completely off position. Is there any reason why launch control cant be enabled with the traction control in sport mode?

You can, however we recommend launching with it completely off.

Any time you want to launch the vehicle properly, you'll have to follow the steps mentioned on in the video.

There is a time limit between launches. This helps reduce the heat generated.

Anyone getting transmission hot after the launch

These transmissions certainly can get hot after a launch with some audible whining. When that happens, we'd recommend driving normally for a bit, allowing your transmission to cool down.

is it true that if you have any turn angle in your steering wheel, the car wont allow the launch?

it is 100% not true. My s4 was on a stock tune and I had reversed onto the street and didn't fully turn my wheel back to its neutral position. I was talking with my buddy and completely didn't realize when I launched launched the car. It was scary as fuck since the road was very narrow, but luckily I was able to stop the car from smoking a tree. I wasn't paying attention and defiantly won't make that mistake again lol.

These are torque converter automatic transmissions. This launch control function is safe for these transmissions, and we build in temperature safety protocols that disable launch control if any component becomes too hot, or is not hot enough for safe operation.
