Basically why you have a clear bra - Wash it the same as you would without a clear bra. If it gets fucked up, stonechips, scratches etc - It is a lot easier to replace it, and a lot cheaper than painting it

I'm actually surprised you didn't wrap the edges on this bra. When I do custom cuts they're always edges wrapped, obviously pre-cut kits are a little different. Awesome work though man keep it up ! Would love to come check out the shop, I live in NJ.

Larry, I've seen a few clear bra installations where the edges of the clear bra are inside of the panels as oppose to on the outer edge of the panel (as seen in this video). What's the benefit to the clear bra setup in the Singer 911? Would the exposed areas build "gunk" over time?

I really love washing my car. But not other peoples cars :) Even when I have a crappy car now I still enjoy the process. I even vaxed it a couple of weeks ago :) But I think I use too old wax, because it rained a lot after I had vaxed it.. and now my panels, and door handles are blue :D

Nice video... I recently bought an Interlagos Blue (deep metallic blue) M3 ZCP with a clear bra. It's a partial hood & all forward surfaces application. I love the protection, but the seams show from some previous wax job. Short of replacement, is there any way to treat the edges to reduce their visibility?

Hey :). I was hopeing you could give me a bit of advice. I have a mk1 mx5 and my roof was leaking so I obviously replaced it with a new one. however, since my old one was leaking, water got in and made most of the carpet damp, so when its sunny/hot, it condensates quite bad. Is there a way to suck all the moisture out? i thought about a dehumidifier, but cant find one small enough to fit in my car, any advice would be great, thanks in advance :).

I just got my Hot Wheels Camaro completely covered in XPEL Ultimate Plus and I heard I can also do Ceramic Pro on top of the clear bra?? Is that true? I would think that you would just need one or the other not both right??

Larry, Did you see the video from Topaz Detailing in the UK? They put Paint protection film on a McLaren P1, They scratched it with a wire brush (big balls) heated it up and it repaired itself also with water repaired itself scratch gone... Would like to hear your thoughts on this?

Since the clear bra appears to stop about 1/16th from the edge of each panel and doesn't completely cover the paint, is there any discoloration noticed between the protected surface and unprotected surface?

Hi Larry, I just purchased a car that has a clear bra. It’s only 2 years old but it has caked on dirt all around the edges. There is even one spot where it has lifted up and has ~5mm of dirt stuck underneath. I was hoping you could go into these conditions and what I should do about it. For the caked dirt, I was using a clay bar along the edge (lightly) but without much success For the one bad spot, should I attempt to cut it out with a sharp blade? Thanks I’m advance.

my question is about the install process of the clear bra. are they precut or do you have to custom cut for each car ? if so I would assume that you need to cut the bra on the actual car . how do you avoid cutting into the paint itself ? I had an issue with a well known window tinter that you did a video on because he cut the tint on the outside of the glass and the blade cut into the glass leaving long visible scratches everywhere

When clear-bras get old, do they ever crack or turn yellow? In another video of yours you've mentioned yellowing doesn't happen in newer clear-bra products, but is this true over the lifetime of the vehicle even with newer product?

Hey Larry I wanted to hear your opinion on the new hydrophobic coating technologies that are getting pretty popular nowadays. They claim to protect the paint from UV rays and liquid substances but I don't think they help against rocks and such as a clear bra does.

Hey Larry, My M3 has gloss black painted wheels, and I noticed when cleaning with Plum followed by wheel woolies, Brute soap, and a microfiber wash mitt, I've been getting fine marring on the painted surfaces of the wheel. What can I do to prevent these fine scratches, and also fix or conceal them?

you need to remove the swirls which basically is just rounding out the sharp edges of the swirls so they don't reflect light. then you should look into applying a ceramic nano coat. and then another coat. for cleaning don't use microfiber towels. instead use a feather tip detail brush. for a good shine try an antistatic polymer spray like finish kare #425. the dirt will just roll off with very little effort.

What about removing water spots on a clear bra? I have some on my bumper covered in expel. Is there any water spot removal dedicated to only clear bra's?
