BreeZe Ghost little advice, if it has over 100k miles on it and you really want it boosted go with a procharger. With a turbo you’ll probably blow your engine in no time.

I managed to buy a 2012 v6 mustang ingot silver with 90k miles on it for around 9 grand best thing to get first for mods is a 1 peice drive shaft because and 120mph the knuckle on the 2 peice will snap.

I prefer my 04 v6 over any other mustang for the fact that I go drifting so you don’t need more than 300hp and a welded diff plus it’s super reliable also it’s easy to work on.

I could’ve bought the 5.0 back in 2015 whenI was car shopping. I had the cash but, went with the 2012 v6 because it had as much hp as my old 2008 GT. Plus the insurance was waaaaay cheaper

If your younger guys go for a 2000-04 V8 cheaper insurance and easy mods. You can 5.0 swap those cheaper than you can get a regular 5.0 mustang.

This guy talks like I do on video. LOL Nice ride B) I have a V6 too. It makes me happy. I actually like being an underdog taking on the V8s. Let's race! ;p I actually don't do too bad against V8s on the streets. Beat a 3 valve GT as well as some other V8s. Caught up to a V10 BMW M5. At the 1/8th mile tailed a 6.1L SRT8 Challenger by a car length or two.. I'm sure he wasn't stock. Love my ride! See that yellow S550 that came on you guys in the opposite lane around 6:33? ;) Yeah I had a SR Performance one piece aluminum driveshaft installed on my car so it can take the pressure. Have yet to take the car above 130mph. Someday soon I hope to do 140. Won't go over that till I have better tires/suspension.

I just bought a 2011 v6 mustang and I love it. Im trying to learn everything I can about mustangs in general because they're my favorite car and I wanna get into modding. My tail light tints came today in the mail but I wanna know how to increase the horsepower from 305 to something a little higher. Do I need new headers and exhaust and tuners and all that stuff?

Chris Nichols Depend on your budget You can start with exhaust and tune, but if your budget is a bit bigger, you can go long tube headers and ultimately a pro charger

That car sure does sound nice. I wonder if a set of BBK shorty headers would fit the same engine in another vehicle? I bought a used F150 with this same engine back in 2022, when I saw it had a "3.7 liter V6" I figured it would be a dog, but at least it it had enough power to take me to work and to the hardware store, maybe haul a motorcycle. That silly notion was thrown out after a test drive, it allegedly has 302 horsepower instead of the Mustang's 305, and I wonder if that's because of a tune, or because of the better (and shorter) exhaust on the Mustang. I've been pleasantly surprised with what the truck could do, I towed a small SUV on a flatbed trailer with the V6, and while it spins faster than a V8 would it didn't have any trouble. One of the first things I thought when driving my truck was "This engine would be fantastic in a sports car."

Absolutely nothing wrong with a v6. Mustang. fuel saving along with hp is a trade off. the V6 has aggressive handling unlike the front heavy v8. I say hats off to you sir. I have seen v6 turbos...blow gt's in the quarter mile. You look at the youtube videos. V6 mustangs with turbo or superchargers are more nimble than a lot of cars on the road. and. let's remember. The poor guy, on the road... Like when the first veterans of ww2that built harleys. V6 Mustangs are fun to build. And have nastlagia. and I like it that young guys can build that. Instead of rich guys,and that's what is all about

If I had $30k I would drop it all into my V6... Procharger obviously... Completely new aftermarket Brake Kit Speedform GT500 Spoiler, Cervini’s Stalker Body kit, GT500 Style Rims, 4.10 or 4.55 gears with a completely rebuilt differential, 1.5 inch lowering springs on the front only for that better looking muscle car stance. And for exhaust BBk shorties and their off road x pipe along with Roush axle backs. Rear seat deletes, honeycomb grille with lemans 8 inch white stripes down the middle all on grabber blue. MPT tuned. So much stuff so little money (sigh)

Dude I need to make mine as loud as yours. How did you make yours louder I have a 2010 Mustang v6 4.0 It has a flow master but it ain't as loud as I want it to be. So what do I need to do to make it louder?

Here is my mod list. Jlt cold air intake, BBK ceramic coated long tube headers, BBK off-road Xpipe, Borla ATAK catback, ford racing 3.73 rear gears, Blowfish shifter bracket and safety loop, 170 degree thermostat, brakes are powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with carbon ceramic pads, Russel steel braided brakelines, JLT oil separator, Driveshaft shop aluminum 1piece driveshaft, Whilteline rear double adjustable lower control arms, BMR double adjustable upper control arm and mount, ported stock intake manifolds by Super-six motorsports, and, custom road tune from Adam Marrer. wheels are American muscle saleen style wheels 18X9 up front and 18X10 in the back, tires are Micky Thompson street comp 255/45R18 up front and 275/40R18 in back
