Super Slow-mo would be a great addition to Good Good Labs. It would be nice to be able to see all of the checkpoints throughout the swing. Keep up the good work!

Sadly, trying to learn the golf swing using checkpoints is like a kid being shown in slow motion what checkpoints to hit while throwing a ball. Learn "what" to do, your body has a way of finding out "how".

The mental thought of sweeping, as opposed to taking a thick divot with the 4 and 2 iron was game changing. After the video I immediately went to the range and went to work. Much better strike and shot height Thanks for helping the game out!

Great video! Grant's smooth hybrid/3-wood swings encourage me to not give up on my hybrid practice. Also, Tig's message about being patient (for good tempo) and keeping the golf club grip light really stuck in my mind in today's practice session......I was able to hit some decent 4-hybrid shots. Thanks again Grant and Tig!

Try taking a full swing but slowing your swing down a bit and keeping the same tempo all the way through impact and follow through. No where near the level these guys are but that’s something that helps me with those shots.

I’m pretty crap from 50 to 100, but I have a cheater technique for 30 to 50 that works well for me - feet close together, not touching, ball of the back foot, everything connected like a putting stroke with my 60 degree, a full strength hard putting stroke gets me 50, a little less for 40 and 30 is a feel thing that I practice before the round. Lose some spin for sure but it gets my ball on the green easy

This season is the first time I've ever felt comfortable with a long iron in my hands. I carry a 3 iron and a 4 hybrid just for the versatility they bring. When I played in highschool like 20 yrs ago long irons were impossible to hit. Now the technology has really made them accessable to guys who don't play every day. Game changer once you get used to them.

My long irons have really come around this season. My clubs are all +1” also so my 4 iron is 2 iron length but it’s probably my favorite club in the bag to hit off the tee. Having confidence in your long irons really bleeds into the rest of your game and makes you feel dialed.

Great topic boyz & per usual solid Lab Grant. 💯 The best advice I ever got for hitting long irons is to swing through the ball & let the face move up towards the sky. Might not be for everyone but it cured my bullet snap-hook that quickly made short par 5's (Eagleable 😆) into long par 5's.

Slow motion with some graphics (showing where I should be looking at the swing) would be cool. I watch a lot of these videos but I have a hard time seeing the mechanics you guys are trying to explain . Like circling a still image of the hand position or club position would even be helpful I think for lots of people. Or maybe a side by side comparison of middle of the stance to front of the stance as an example. Just my 2 cents on things I would like to see. Love the videos guys, Grant you are the man, keep up the good work!!

Grant, would love to see how you route a mid iron (5-7) from top of swing through impact. Where is the club in relation to your hands/wrists coming down (last parallel?), hands at impact, how do you get that really smooth looking release? Yes. Do not play long irons off the left heel. About a few inches inside of that. Another helpful thing is to imagine you are hitting a 9 iron when you are hitting a 3 iron. This will help you relax and swing easy and make good contact. Also be sure to squat in the legs, for power and contact as well.
