***** summary ***** 1. have an agenda: the purpose of reading a book 2. search for the best books and authors 3. choose 2-3 books 4. listen to talks in ted/99u/RSA where they brief about the book (finally buy the book) 5. check the number of segments in the book, read 2-3 stories from each segment 6. no need to read the book completely, read until your agenda is not fulfilled 7. understand the moral of each segment (key takeaway), apply them to your life 8. underline important stuff and mark the lines for retention 9. keep the phone away 10. spend at least 1 hour every day reading Nir Eyal-------------Hooked Simon Sinek------Start with why Culture Code-------Dan Coyle

This is so valuable. People don't realise that if they are facing a problem, they aren't the only one and definitely not the first one. There are books who talk about your problem (whatever it may be) and also about how to solve it. There are online tools that help you with this. There are online communities like reddit that help you as well. People just need to open the mind and ask for help and there will always be someone who will help you.

I think this is a great content video for book readers or for those starting to read books. The point I felt most important is that before reading a book one must have an agenda or purpose. Without having an agenda or purpose, reading a book is pointless. In fact, this concept of having a purpose applies to many other things we do in life as well.

I went to the channel and started looking for some more business case studies. Then I watched Marlboro case study, then Jack Ma story. The USP is that he is not a random guy making videos but an elder brother who really wants his young siblings to be better and grow together! From reading nothing at all to finish 3-4 books every month is something I am really proud of. Even though I don't remember most of the stuff that I read (may be not even 30%) but that's okay and I'm happy with that as well. Thank you for this great video! I think this video has helped to setup an efficient workflow for reading a book. It answers a very important question, why read a book? Understanding your motivation to read in crucial in building momentum towards reading. Following which a proper vetting strategy of whether the book is good enough for your reading/understanding and does it serve your purpose is important, since we don’t want to buy a stack a books that we will never read! This video has clearly elucidated these and more. Thank you for such a great content! 🙏

Just for timepass, I saw one video of your channel which lead me to see more than 5 to 6 videos. Your content quality is so good and up to the point with no extra unnecessary intro greetings, that it made me subscribe after watching videos that were not even currently useful.
