I was trying to think of what are the influences I hear in the song, and I came up with the Foos, Metallica and little hint of EVH in some of that guitar work! :) Good stuff bro!

Would be very up for more creative ways to expand guitar tones. Always wanted to find ways to sound old school. Even like the earliest Alan Lomax field recordings. Those sound so cool... maybe some kind of EQ settings?

Hi, When I record in pro tools it turns off the plugins, the guitar sound is flat. I can't play, so I mike my amp. I'm a novice. Do you hear your effects when your recording and the rhythm is playing?
