Hey there! I have the EVO 4. Just wanted to know that if I had to record my rav vast drum along with a friend on percussion on drums via Zoom conference for an online concert, would the loopback feature help me there to control his sound as well? Will the output on zoom call be in stereo for the listeners?

The Loopback mixer lets you change the level and panning of the incoming audio before it gets recording into your DAW. If you enable stereo mode in Zoom then it should be in stereo.

Would be nice to add an Artist Mix on the EVO 4.as it is on the EVO8. I liked to listen on Loopback sometimes to get a different level than what is going on Main Mix as is.

Can I use Shure sm58 for Voice over ? Which Audio Interface is best for Voice over ? I have a window laptop

You can use a Sure SM58 with an EVO for Voiceover. It may not be the best microphone for voiceover but it will certainly do the job.

They both have practically the same sound quality so it depends which one you prefer in terms of feature set and form factor.

hey there...i have just bought evo4 and instaled cubase..to my surprise it is not recording vocals from evo4 . I have checked numerous tutorials to troubleshoot it but nothing is working. The control panel is also not opening in vst setup

Greetings, I'm having a weird issue. I am unable to monitor my audio with non-monitor headphones. I have in-ear headpones and when I plug it in it doesn't work. I tried it with my gaming headphones too, doesn't seem to work either.

Hey, can the Audient drive the Sm7b with enough gain and no excess noise

The EVO 4 will happily drive the SM7B and if you look around the web there are quite a few reviewers who have tested this. It does depend on the sound you are recording, for normal speaking and vocals then it'll be fine but if you're recording very softly spoken vocals or are far from the mic, you may want to use a Cloudlifter for a little boost.

HOW DO I RECORD A 4 PERSON PODCAST WITH THE EVO 8?!?!

You can simply connect up 4 microphones, one for each host/guest, to the microphone inputs of EVO. Use smart gain to get the perfect recording levels. Then simply open a piece of recoding software, setup 4 tracks and hit record.
