How to remove a car radio WITHOUT tools (Radio Pin Removal Type)

This is a quick and easy way to remove your radio if you don’t have the Radio removal pins :)

It's most simple don't worry :) No way! Never come across anyone else with that spec Clio before, glad the video helped 👍

@@wallsworkshop On the hunt for tiny screwdrivers now! 🤓 Yeh little 2004 auto, shes a beaut, cheap to run too 😁 . Very helpful and will save me a few quid, thank you!

@@ceridavies414 you'll find them easily on eBay they're M6 hex head screwdrivers. Perfect that's what you want from a little car like that. I had a 1.2 manual too which was silly cheap on fuel 😂Thank you for a good review! You're very welcome

I just used a flat head screwdriver on the outside and it popped out with ease, go in between the clips and just gently push and it will slide out, do the same on the other side.. hope this helps as well

Yeah this defo helps mate I had no idea it worked, tried it on mine and it genuinely didn’t work god knows why. Cheers for letting me know 👍🏻

@@wallsworkshop I done it previously on a 206 I had, ended up breaking 1 of the clips but that's because I didn't know it would work.. 3 other clips were good, tried it today in my clio as I have the immobiliser problem with it not reading the chip correctly

I've been trying to do this, but my screw drivers seems to miss the inside. I can push them all the way in, without getting a click. How would I go on about that?

That's strange, I'd probably use a slightly smaller set of screwdrivers, maybe the pins inside are worn down if the radio has been removed before? Or just change size drivers until you find one that seats on the pin correctly

@@wallsworkshop My dad helped me out, we realized that I had no metal frame to keep it in place, so whenever I tried to pull it out I could not cause I didnt have one.
