How to Remove a VIRUS/MALWARE off your Android Phone! (WORKS 100%)

Instructions:
1.) Identify that you have Malware installed on your phone.
2.)Go to "Settings".
3.)Search or find Apps or Application section.
4.)Find the suspicious Application.
5.)Boot into Safe Mode by holding down your power button and then tap and hold on power off until you have the option to boot to Safe Mode.
6.) Repeat steps 2-4.
7.) Uninstall the Application.
8.) Exit safe mode.
If the phone will not let you uninstall the Application because it is a Administrator, find your administrator settings in your settings and take off the app that is Malware.

@Natural Born Eset finds virus as well, but just like malwarebytes it only offers to disable or uninstall an app, not to clean it up. But I can't disable infected Settings in Android! That's the problem. Thanks anyway.

Thank you brother that worked. And I didn't have to go even safe mode for that . I just installed beach buggy racing mode which sadly turned out to be a malware. I had a virus on my new phone. Thanks to this, I can say had. Thanks so much, once I have kids and get them phones, I will teach them to ALWAYS check for malware, and unlike most videos show, it doesn't take all kinds of fancy, complicated apps to detect and remove malware, it just takes a little typing, scrolling, and a tap.

So my phone just shows ads randomly and also Russian news articles and I don't know how it got there *cough cough* defenetly not pornografi, I've tried everything and it doesn't show any suspicious files on anti viruses and I haven't downloaded anything from a browser, or ya know hauwei might just be punishing me for not agreeing to there user data collection agreement but that's what for then banned from Android on the new p40 model and forward so I'm not agreeing to that but do you know how to fix it im getting desperate Edit: the ads come out of nowhere and it's basically like clicking a link except for its not a link and it just appears randomly

Quick question(idk if you respond especially since this vid is years old) I used an anti-virus checker from the play store and it found the virus and I deleted it. If the pop ups stop does that mean my phone is clear of the virus. Silly question, but I am just paranoid.

So, I think my issue is a suspicious text that was sent to my phone about a "winnings" that was due to me. I only opened the text just to read it and NOT the link that came with it and I believe thats when my phone started to act glitchy n crazy. This is really interesting, I've never heard of something like this happening before. Not to worry! Check for any suspicious files or apps in a files application, and attempt to uninstall them. Also make sure to check if you're phone still behaves weirdly in safe mode (look up how to enter and exit safe mode for your specific device). If all else fails, you can always attempt a factory reset, which will wipe your phone completely, and will most likely solve your issue. If the issue persists even after you factory reset, although I doubt it will, you may want to consider going to your local phone service provider's store, and see if they can offer up any advice. Good luck!

Try safe mode and see if you can find anything suspicious there. Check your downloads, and unlink your Google accounts from your phone temporarily until the virus is removed. When in safe mode, check your app list again, and do some searching within your files through your files app. If there is anything that arouses suspicion, delete it immediately. If nothing works, I'd recommend heading to your phone's carrier store and seeing what they have to say about it. If it's to the point where the virus is deliberately funneling out your information, passwords and such, I may not be in the most educated spot to help you out. To summarize, check around in safe mode, delete anything suspicious, factory reset once more if you find anything odd, and if all else fails, go to your phone carrier store.

Or you can do a factory data swipe. It deletes everything and gets rid of all your viruses. It's good when you have a backup but even if you didn't you can get data from your old devices with USB. I just did it today so CHEERS

Ok, don't panic, sometimes those messages are nearly a scam. Don't download any app that it tells you to. Which browser were you using? I recommend force stopping and uninstalling the one you were using and download a separate one.

I went to a shorturl to go to a discord server and it sent me to this site it was a shorturl shortener. I copied the link, and press the button. And it said. "Allow notifications"? I clicked yes and it just started sending some wierd crap every 5 seconds. So freaking annoying.

If it won't let you uninstall it, find the administrator settings on your phone. If that app is active, try to switch it's administrator settings off. If this doesn't work, preform a factory reset.

I’m not exactly sure. I’d recommend factory resetting first, to check if a potential virus could have been flushed out. Otherwise, I wouldn’t worry too much about it, unless actual purchases have been made on your credit card. And if they have, I’d recommend contacting a professional.

hello, my phone has a virus where it just randomly clicks random stuff out of nowhere. i could be watching youtube normally and all of a sudden it skips to the end of the video. i have been trying everything to stop it, and ideas?

Factory reset if you think there is possible infection. Otherwise, you way want to check for water damage, as it can be a major source of that random tapping you describe, I've actually experienced it first hand. If you think it's water damaged, id recommend bringing it to your provider, or asking them to guide you through a factory reset. Yo dude thanks for these tips, this actually worked, I was so scared when I figured out I had a virus.but this actually worked. Oh and hey Is it safe to turn off safe mode once the virus has been deleted?

Absolutely. That's the main reason safe mode was invented. If you use safe mode, it force stops all applications, including the virus. This will help you to delete it without the virus itself getting in the way.

If it’s the old, download this antivirus or we will leak your information to the government, please don’t fall for it. If you’re really concerned about your phones well being, make a back up of your current model and preform a factory reset. Hope this helps!

I actually don't have any installed on my phone, as I'm familiar with how to sort out and delete malware. However, if I were to recommend a software, id say Malwarebytes. Have a great night!

My Google keeps saying I have a virus but I download a app on play store and I try to clean it and it says I need permissions ,and then I go to main settings and scan my apps and it says they all look good so I'm confused and scared and I don't want to loose my phone forever

Well, if you can't find the app, and force stopping chrome hasn't worked for you, back up your phone and factory reset it. This should wipe all of your data, including the virus.

If you're not able to pinpoint the app, backup your phone (optional), and then factory reset. You should find this option in settings. Let me know if you need any further information.

If you can't find out where the virus is, force stop Google and start using a separate browser. If that doesn't work, factory reset.

Usually 3rd party mp3 downloaders cause these kind of problems. If you can't remove the app manually, factory reset.

Most of my apps just disappeared and the ones that were still there were crashing... so I reset my tablet and erased everything and when I try log into anything with one of my emails its not working with the password that I know I have. Im scared :(

No need to panic! Emails get compromised all of the time. First step is to find the suspicious app and force stop it. If this doesn't stop your issues, try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, contact me here.
