In Part 2 of this series I pull the M20 motor from the E30 in preparation for some much needed maintenance. It was my first time pulling a motor, and was certainly a long process, but was definitely worth it when we finally got it out.
There are many ways to extract the motor. I used an engine hoist to lift it from above and pulled the transmission out along with it. There's no real particular order in which you need to perform each step as I was learning on the fly how to disconnect and remove various parts for the extraction.
