SVCM is the way to go! No worries about changing resistors when the outside temp changes! Everything automatic now. Forget about this one shown in the video get the S-VCM to avoid this unnecessary changing of the resistors.

Yea my case stock and volume only goes to 38 there’s no reason I have it all the way up and can still hear the person right beside me

This is not a fuel pressure regulator. It’s a fuel pressure damper. The regulator is found inside the fuel distributor. This is one of the most commonly misidentified parts on these engines. The part you replaced rarely goes bad and it definitely won’t solve most fuel pressure problems.

I actually kinda like the VCM in my Acura. The vibrations are annoying but I do a lot of road trips and the better MPGs are nice. I do keep a quart of oil on me in the car because I heard some horror stories of the VCM causing oil burn.

Good effort, but I would call it a rebuild. This kind of "rebuild" has potential to make it worse in the end. As minimum, you should've pop the pistons out, clean the ring grooves, hone cylinders. Remove valves, clean, cut new valve seats if required.

Much simpler than I though. About to do this for my MR2. NA models share the same motor as these Camrys.

Australia here,I had a Mercedes 380 SEL with the dual exhaust pipes running into a single 4'' outlet muffler.I think the muffler itself was a truck unit,judging by the size of it ,but it had a beautiful deep V8 sound to it.Not too loud but not too quiet either.

This wheels fit the car but also the original barock wheels is good or the best looking for the car especially if you can get them newly forged in bigger sizes

i’ve purchased about 3 of the rubber grommets and they tear every time i try installing the valve on it. no matter what i do or what i try they tear every time i’ve tried putting oil on them or wiggling them in there slowly they tear every time idk what i’m doing wrong. any tips?

My 06 odyssey still works fine with no shake modes at 116k miles. Mobil 1 oil maintenance around 10 percent oil life.

wonder why it is - Acura enthusiast forums like MDXers and Acurazine, - no one complains about the VCM. It makes me wonder, is it truly refined in the Acura and just a problem in the Hondas? The Honda forums are filled with VCM complaints. Acura forums are devoid of them. Someone explain?

vcm sucks and auto start stop sucks, why do consumers has to look for a device that disable it when they could have given the option straight from factory

I remember the early 90s they had resin they could with salt only but it was 2 good now they say it never existed so you buy new resin

You rock I just picked up a rinse and go by unger. They use a bag of resin for that exchange. So I worked in a feedwater lab and the process is just what you mentioned. 20 we did a backwash basically to rinse off the beads, then a brine cycle to regen them with a slow rinse of filtered water. finally a rinse to clean up anything left and ready for use. So with the systems we are doing. Could reverse flow through that filter somehow, then let it soak in a brine solution like you did, gentle rinse through your rv filter then a final rinse until your tds meter says it looks good!!!! Nice work! My setup is the unger rinse and go 20 micron filter from aqua crest and a 5 micron filter to use maybe as part of my rinse cycle before putting the filter back into service….I was thinking of putting the 20 micron and the 5 micron in series but thinking that may be too aggressive as my city water isn’t that crazy.
