Great video! I know you mentioned in a another comment about running some wire for that back outlet (which is sick) but I'm curious about that little black button? Is it the switch for the inverter? I was hoping maybe you'd found a way to open the rear hatch from the inside.

Thanks for the video. This question comes some time after you posted, but I'm hoping to still get an answer. I only need to lower the front (driver's side) of the headliner, so I can reattach my sunroof drain hose. Do I have to go through all of this, or is it possible just to remove the A-pillar cover and the visor(s) to lower the headliner?

Question: What is the path of the antenna wire? Does it go down the front by the windshield, or between the front & rear passenger side, or somewhere else? I have to replace mine but want an idea of the path before I take it apart. Thanks.

I had an accident and damaged the rear gate on my 2007 Matrix. I have not found a video on replacing it. The problem is that I have been unable to remove the hinges from either gate. Any thoughts? Thanks.
