I had an accident and damaged the rear gate on my 2007 Matrix. I have not found a video on replacing it. The problem is that I have been unable to remove the hinges from either gate. Any thoughts? Thanks.

its not the electic thats the problem its that's a very weak impact...i have one of those...its only 1/3 as strong as a medium milwaukee - a medium milwaukee will take almost anything out, and if it can't then the heavy one will 100%...i keep one of those in my tools for when you need the heavy artillery

Nice music! Although I may drop the tank. It would take longer to slide the bed back, for removing the toolbox and bed liner would take longer. Also, I've got to drop the fuel tank to get to the blown brake line. Which chose to blow in between the fuel tank and the frame. 🤔🤷 The current fuel pump is 27yrs old and the original factory one.

Mine has been leaking fluid for 15 years when the weather gets cold.. I never see fluid leaking or on the ground nor around the bell housing and or fire wall.. WTH could be the issue?

Oring tool. Or just slip a stiff thin smooth awl, very small screwdriver or other and pry them off. Lubricate with silicone oil first. Not silicone mixed with distillates. Or other fluid not harmful to rubber. Razor is sharp and can easily score the outer wall.

I didn't hours trying to use the plastic tool that came with. Went to the parts store and got the metal version and it released within 5 minutes. Now what were you saying about blowing the seals? Don't press the clutch until everything's back together and you have brake fluid in it?

Question: What is the path of the antenna wire? Does it go down the front by the windshield, or between the front & rear passenger side, or somewhere else? I have to replace mine but want an idea of the path before I take it apart. Thanks.

Had to redo a lot as it was not properly stored but looks like it just came out of the factory. After this will drive like it too hopefully lol Thanks guys very well done no waste no fluff. Great call on the tool loan; that's indispensable. Also, thanks for showing things on the new parts from there removal or again once it's out for clarity. Just finished my swap out and took about an hour and a half for anyone wondering about time frames. Thanks for the info, guys.

Great informative video! Someone was looking for help and I found your video and shared it with them. Also helps me out cause I might have to change my fuel pump assembly. The other day my gas gauge dropped to empty and the fuel light came on right after filling the tank 😂 2 days later the gauge worked and was back to normal and a week later the same thing happened again. Watching the video definitely helped cause I didn’t want to drop a tank in my driveway. Mine is a 2004 Ranger XLT. I subscribed as well. 👏🤜🤛

I cut the heads off a couple bolts and slotted the top and put those in the top holes to make sure the gasket is aligned. Put in bottom bolts then screw the top bolts back out. Works good.

If you have a engine hoist and some rope/come-a-long straps then use that to take the bed off. Makes it a 1 peson job.

The 8.8 swap was so worth it on my 1992 Ranger. Managed to grab a 3.73 LSD, disc brakes and swapped over an 8.8 aluminum cover from a 2002 Explorer for less than $170 at my local junkyard then sold my stock rear end on OfferUp for $250 😂

The reason your plastic fuel line tool didn’t work is because it’s the 5/16 one and that line is 3/8 which should be the blue one of the set. My plastic tool worked fine when I figured out that mistake

God bless you, sir and thank you so much for this video you have save me and My Family a lot of money.

Worst video about this on the Internet. You don't have to take out the engine nor the transmission. You don't take apart the brake and clutch assembly this whole piece just pops out by turning the cylinder at the fire wall then pop the clip to the tranny and take out the screw of the reservoir

Thanks for the video. This question comes some time after you posted, but I'm hoping to still get an answer. I only need to lower the front (driver's side) of the headliner, so I can reattach my sunroof drain hose. Do I have to go through all of this, or is it possible just to remove the A-pillar cover and the visor(s) to lower the headliner?

Not the best video for me.... he misses so many things that there is no way to go thru....had to stop repeatedly scratching my head. For example i have no idea what he is doing around @7:00. Had to find other videos to complete the job. All in all, nice guy, well intended but not easy to follow. When you have to guess, and stop & rewind the video over 10 times you know the guy is screwing around. Just my honest opinion
