How to Remove Center Console on a 2015 Chevy Silverado and newer

You’ll need a flat head, 10mm & 15mm.. hope this helps you guys out! I was looking for something like this on how to remove it and couldn’t find it!

Appreciate the video man! I gotta pull the headliner in my 2015 duramax so seats and the center console have to come out. This will def help me with the console!

I'm wanting to do the exact same thing what else did you need to buy other than the bumper seat center consul?? And do you have after pictures of the new pump seat installed?

Thanks for the video man. Bought a 2018 recently, and heard something loose in the console. A sticky penny covered in weird gunky shit underneath the cup holders!

I'm assuming you did this to replace it with the middle bench seat ? If so is there any video of doing the second part ? Also what button feature is that 5th one on the truck

Yes, I installed the middle seat. I don’t have a video of installing the bench seat but it is very simple. Only four 15mm and that’s it, 5th button on the Duramax is the Exhaust Brake!

So i am able to switch this to a bench seat ? The dashes r all the same in these truck? Bc ik in the older trucks theres different dashes if u have the center console or bench seat

Yes, you can switch to the bench seat no problem! It’s only 4 screws for the bench seat!! You may have to buy additional parts if you want it to look OEM and have phone chargers still.

Can anybody tell me if the 2015 console will fit in a 2020. I know the wiring for the outlets might be slightly different but the dimensions look the same.

Did you have to remove the seats to get jump seat in? I hate my full center console

No need to remove the seats. Just back it up all the way and remove the screw closest to the front, and then put the seat all the way forward and remove the screw on the back side.

I ordered mine from gmparts direct part number 23177893, that was for the color I needed. Find the color you need. They said it wouldn't be in for 2 weeks. I will let you know how it looks when it co
