Perfect timing. Just had limp home mode out of nowhere and working my way through all the most common issues. Egr cleaning is on the list. Thanks again bro

I discovered my limp mode was caused by the vacuum pump that opens the turbo gate had failed.

If only Sprinter had provided two additional screw holes on that Three bolt EGR Valve to apply a separating force on opposing sides when removing.

Thank you for making this video! I'm planning to do this to my 2004 Dodge Sprinter as well. Do you know what the type of latches are called on the cabinets inside your van?

They are e10 bolts. Just took mine off. Who knows. Yours may have been changed before.

Did that fix any of the power hesitation you had mentioned?

I think my issue was actually just cold starts which cause a little hesitation when first starting the van. I've never owned a diesel before and I think only 2-3 of 5 of our glow plugs are good.
