I have an L110 I took the belt guard off to grease it and I can't find any grease fittings on the spindles? Did the older machines not have grease fittings on the spindles?

Watch this video and you may find the grease fittings. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l7eHlMSima_SkY0.html. If you cannot find them, someone may have changed out the mandrels that did not have grease fittings in the hub.

How do can i adjust/tighten the mower belt ? The tention bracket is welded; on older models your able to adjust the bracket by sliding the bracket back. Can you help?

The way most mower decks work is if you have the correct belt? I would always use OEM so you know you’re getting the correct size. The only tension is from the blade engagement cable spring if everything is operating as it should and the mower deck is working properly and you have the correct belt you should have the correct tension. The adjustable belt tensioner was on some of the other models , and obviously is not needed or they would have left the adjustable brackets on. Always check your belt tension while the mower deck is halfway up on deck height. If the mower deck is sitting on the ground, it may seem to be loose, so pick the mower deck up a few notches before checking tension.

My S100 is new from the factory. I notice that the front pin is attached to the middle hole instead of the front top hole as shown here. Anyone here know why the 3 holes?

Is it a MUST to remove this before installing and using the snow plow?

On older tractors (the good ones) yes I take the mower decks off. I have never put a plow on a newer version of the cheaper line of John Deere tractors since the early 2000’s and I highly recommend not doing it. (1) your machine will not be able to push snow without wheels weights and chains. (2) adding weights and chains will most likely cause your transmission to fail early in its life as the transmission on the cheaper line of John Deere tractors are cheaper In quality as is the entire machine.
