How to remove RAM 1500 Sport Hood Vents

In this video we show how to safely remove the hood vents from a challenger style sport hood of a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The vents can be removed from the outside according to the manual but doing so risks damaging the paint. In this video we show exactly how to remove the vents from your truck without damaging anything!

Great video. I have a 2015 ram sport that's the same color so it's good to see exactly what certain mods will look like against the silver. And yes I will be doing this to mine.

I have watched a bunch of your videos. Awesome truck! I have a 2017 Ram R/T. After you dremeled out the hood inserts have you had any issues with dirt, debri or water messing anything up or excessive dirt under the hood?

Does this cause problems with the engine getting more air and possibly debris? I'm wondering bc I'm trying to do this to my truck and I wanna see if you've had any problems with it

How does your hood act when you go about 75-85 mph? I’m getting mixed reviews saying it shakes like hell also where did you get your hood?

Hood is stock from the factory. It moves a bit but nothing too crazy

Ram air system I believe is that it's called replaced the hood vents with a working forced air system

Yeah its a cool system but super expensive and only works on the passenger side for their intake! Won't work with the procharger kit install we are doing 😁

There is a mopar mod to make the passenger side vent into a true cold air intake. There is a video here on youtube, that shows the mod and all the parts that come with it.
