ffstahly I haven’t even thought about that to be honest. It’s a big advantage as it filters the air you breathe coming through your vents. Especially if you or anyone riding with you has allergies. A lot of manufacturers make it an option for some reason.

Try and get one that does NOT have a jatco transmission.i,ve had no issues but i know guys who have.First Daimler now Fiat...God help us Ram guys.

@@poyo3582 not what i was told.some do some dont...the other issue is the needle valve lifters.some say its a oil vicosity issue others say its a metallurgical/ mnfctr issue.wearing down cams and causing misfire codes."suposedly" dealt with by Dodge in 2015.dont get me wrong,i love the Ram we bought,2015.bought it strictly on my love of Dakotas,great trucks.i beat the hell out of 3 and zero tranny and engine issues.bought a Ram cuz we needed a larger beefier tow vehicle...i should have done better research...so far so good though.great paint,low miles,in state whole 21,000 miles,great mntnce record...what wasnt to like?

It didn’t seem flexible at all. I don’t think heating it would do any good. Look on www.americantrucks.com website and see if they offer one for your truck.

Hey brother how are you did you ever get the roof spoiler onto your 3rd gen? And if you did how did you do it? And what year did you have to buy the spoiler meaning if it was from a 2009 dodge ram or 2011 in order for it to fit good?

Good luck with the MRI. I'm terrified of tight spaces and they wanted to do an MRI for lower back issues and I told them I can't do it, so they said they would knock me out. When it was time first they gave me a sedative, then the anesthesiaologist came in and checked my heart rate. Long story short they couldn't do it because my heart rate went up to 160 even after another sedative. Now they believe me when I tell them I am terrified of confined spaces.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I've got the only one so far on a Ram DS... I took a Ram DT and 'modified' the mounting rails to make it work. Should be available in the next year for everyone else though.

Oh man I love it! People ask me about it all the time. The adhesive that comes with it is what holds windshields in place. Once it cures it’s not going anywhere.

I have this egr installed maybe 2017 shortly after I purchased my 2016 Laramie…today it still looks the same…it’s held up well and I bought for looks and fear of rain coming in 3rd brake light

Yes you can mount it level. I’m person it doesn’t look like it’s sloping but I had to make sure it covered the entire dent.

It should have come with windshield adhesive. If not you want the 3M Urethane sealant that’s used for windshields. It has done great on my truck and it’s been on for over 4 years.

mark benson Thanks! Well it’s kind of hard to do here but I try and make videos before winter if I can and keep them. Otherwise I make videos at my work where I can wash indoors.

grodd81 You would need some 3M polyurethane sealant and apply a big bead in the channel below the tape on the spoiler!

Jeffrey Sasquatch In this video the exhaust was still factory but no I didn’t since all I installed was a muffler.

flipfloplogic Thanks I think it really changes the back of the truck. I started using the new Intro in the Hydrosilex video. Thanks it’s gonna be hard to get moved out with all that we have going on but we will make it.

Haven’t noticed any gains in MPG to speak of. It’s more for looks and keeps water off the third brake light.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailingjust did some research on it and it supposedly makes the trucks more aerodynamic which reduces drag which should give you better mpg and acceleration. Gonna order one asap! My eco diesel needs all the mpgs it can get lol

honest D Thanks! With everything in the camper for camping it was right at 6,000 lbs. It does good but it really could use more power. It’s all In the hitch system you buy. I use a Trunnion hutch so the truck stays level. They are expensive but worth every penny if you tow a camper.

miasmaro98 Thanks for the info! Yeah I know all about it I am a mechanic and have seen it a few times. I checked it before I bought it and the right side manifold gasket is blown out in a small spot. Gonna remove it soon and fix it.

As long as you use the urethane adhesive that comes with it. Once it cures it’s not coming off without a lot of effort.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing yea movings a pain.we relocated from ct to tn 1.5 yrs ago.it took us 6mos. to pack and get rid of " stuff" tip: the donate clothes bins were a blessing.

It’s attached with tape. It’s not permanent by any means ole son.

@@rickylee2477 No it’s attached with polyurethane sealant that holds windshields in. The tape is there to help hold it while the polyurethane cures.

Sure can! It may be a few weeks though once it warms up a little and I can wash the truck.

I only use touch free car washes in the winter and it’s been fine. First few times I was worried about the drier going over the top of it but have had zero issues.

Now I have to clean her all over again :) (that's what your vid's are for)! Anyway, maybe they will come out with a newer version for the 2019's and the new body styles! One question for ya. I'm looking for a tire dressing that can take that trip and clean up nicely without having to strip and apply all over again. Any ideas? Not looking for glossy shine but satinesq.... Thank you!

dj 91 Tire shines can be tricky depending on the environment they are in. Your best best is CarPro Perl diluted 1:1. I can usually get 2-3 weeks out of it.

FAB Automotive Detailing Thank you sir! Going to give that a try. I currently use Meguiars Express for my tires (100%). I love the not to shiny shine but durability is not good and this trip absolutely killed my tires. Dirt, dust, freezing rain and yes snow. We were between 8,500 feet and up to 12,000 feet.

dj 91 I also don’t like shiny tires! PERL gives a nice satin finish. Ethos tire shine is also a good choice but doesn’t have quite the life of CarPro.
