Thanks. It must depend on how long it's been on an other factors, I found they often were still stubborn and shredded a bit and leave a sticky residue. But the heat did help.

This is great! I had already tried scraping one off and still had some glue. heating the sticky residue and rubbing it off with a soft cloth also worked. I was much happier on my next piece of wood starting with heat to remove the label and then wiping off any remaining sticky stuff! Thanks so much!!

Thanks for the video, I will try the heat gun tomorrow. I've been using a belt sander, it does the job, but heat gun seem a lot cleaner

tried this with mdf, a very sturdy and gooey sticker, left with a lot of sticky residue. i‘m still tryimg to get rid of that. if you have any hints or tips, pls answer to my comment.

If you apply some moderate heat to the glue residue it should come off easier. Use a scraper of some sort or even an old credit card to remove it when its warm.
