HOW TO REMOVE the C0-Label from the DJI MINI 4 Pro | Guide | EU-Regulation 2024

From the 1st of January 2024 the new drone regulations will come into force in the EU, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland, which has a negative effect on the maximum flight altitude and behavior of your Mini 4 Pro.
From that day on you are only allowed to fly your DJI Mini 4 Pro up to 120 meters above ground mesaured from the starting point.
Hurry up and immediately remove that C0 label from your device to make your drone a stock drone gaining back the ability to fly higher then 120 meters.

Thats true. But it is not leading to the result of flying higher then.

Yes, unfortunately no effect. I am not sure if it is due to the regulation or maybe softwarewise not possible. 🤷

Hey thanks for that, but my case was different i just did a normal update and than i could see that i can fly till 500m, like WTF? I didn't needed to do this , should i be worried?

Hmmm ... that's a kind of weird situation. On the other hand be lucky if you can keep your C0 cert. :)

Good I purchased the DJI Mini 4K and removed the 120M altitude limit, which is now limited to 500M. But I have some doubts. - Will I stop receiving brand updates? - Since I can now fly above 120 Meters, do I need a C1 tag? - If I fly in the A1 subcategory, do I need to have a C1 label on the drone?

@@doatrip Will I continue to receive firmware updates on my drone? Do I need a Cx or C1 seal because I can climb above 120 meters? If I fly above 120 meters do I need a flight authorization, as well as acquiring subcategories A1 and A3?

@@Amn3sia217 1. you will receive updates 2. You don't need a c-label 3. In Europe you are not allowed flying higher then 120 above ground (yes you need a permission)

With removing you also agree to freeze the drone in it's current state. That's a risk nobody can predict. I recommend to remove it only if you really need it and cannot live with workarounds.

Hmmm ... nope, you just freeze it in terms of C1-Updates. The regular firmware updates are running totally fine. ;o)

@@doatrip yeah, got it downloaded. Like the looky looky through the sensors, eventhough it doesnt do it for up and down. But I'am looking forward for fixing the green lights turning off when recording. As I like flying in darkness, it's my personal wonna-have. Cheers and xmas yourself and your friends properly!
