Awesome info. You say for the queue ECV need to transfer to a wheelchair. Are those provided at each ride?

Thank you for this video, it is very helpful! I am going to Universal for the first time in a couple days and am so excited :) Question - if you are going in your own custom wheelchair (not renting a chair or ESV) is there somewhere different than where the ECV's that they ask you to park your wheelchair, since you go throughout the queue in your chair in this case? And do you know if where they store the wheelchair is covered in case of rain? My manual wheelchair has power assisted wheels and they're not water proof, I will stay under cover if it rains but I worry about rain starting suddenly while I'm on a ride. Thank you for the information!

Hey, Claire! Thank you for your question and for watching. There’s not special parking for your own wheelchair. You’ll need to park it with other ECVs. While there’s some places with cover - many don’t have cover. I recommend bringing a car cover or some ponchos to place over it depending upon how big it is. None of the queues (except for Hogwarts Express) allow ECVs or electronic chairs in the queue. You have to transfer to a manual wheelchair. - Brandon

I would still get the Express pass so that you can conquer more rides while waiting for the return time for the DAP ride. Most of the families we plan for stay at a Premiere resort because it’s free and unlimited with those. 💪

I have a dislocated ankle and I can walk, but not very far and it gets painful. We are thinking about renting an ECV each day for our 3 days at Universal (IOA and USF). My question is, if we come for early park admission and want to rope drop Hagrids or Velocicoaster, is the process of renting the ECV going to slow us down a lot so that we miss that sweet spot where we can be one of the first few people in line at Hagrids?

Hey, Ikel. I would not recommend doing that at all. If you’re going early and going on vacation for a few days, I highly recommend you use Scooterbug. It will save a tiny bit of money and they’ll deliver to your resort hotel. Then you have it for your entire trip. You can drop off at bell service on your check out day.

Yes - if you’re renting at the parks. If you’re using a third party, you can rent for your entire vacation.

Our son has ADHD and sensory issues he has a very hard time waiting in line and just staying still in general. He needs quiet places to take a break. Would be qualify for the APP pass?

Is the accessibility pass good for your entire trip? Or do you need to get a new one each day?

It’s good for the entire direction of your trip, Mountain Mama. But, if you have people joining later, you’ll need to have a cast member add them. It’s supposed to go virtual soon! - Brandon
