Btw super easy we were approved in 48hrs for our medically complex and disabled child no hippa violations and we can use in numerous parks in numerous states. And we can renew easily every year. Thank you for proving its not negative we are so happy for positive input and left out any negative ADA violations which we had none. ❤

Maybe this has been addressed already, I did not read through the comments to find out. But there's some important information not in the video. The IAC DOESN'T let me repeat DOESNOT mean you will be approved for the AAP at Universal . I will go into that part a little later but first all you will need to get this IAC card is a note from your doctor stating you need it. But you will need something from your doctor. It doesn't need to go into details. It can be as simple as I and treating "your name" at this time and they can not stand in line for any long periods of time. After you get approved usually with in 24 hours you will get a email from Universal. They will ask for your plans on visiting day. Then they will call you with in 48 hours of that date. On that call you will need to go through the why you need the AAP and what problems you are having. No longer will it be approved for bathroom problems...needing to go often. For this they will let you leave the line and return to that point. It will not be enough to go through the express lane. Neither will the fact you have mobility issues that can be "cured" by a wheel chair . I have server back problems along with blood disorders that means I can't stand or sit long because of blood clots and intense pain and weakness. While that probably would have been good enough to get the AAP. I'm also on the spectrum and have intense panic attacks when I'm surrounded by strangers. The few times we go to the movies I have to buy the two tickets in from and behind me and I must have a end seat and my wife on the other side of me. The fear of the phone call was basically sending me into a meltdown. My phone is set up for contacts only and all other calls go to spam. So I emailed Guest Services and explained this to them and a detailed list of my problems asking if I could get a interview through email. I received a email from Universal telling me the phone interview was no longer needed. I was approved for the AAP and to bring my IAC card and the reference number to guest service to pick up my AAP past once I got to the park. I assume I it will then work just as the old AAP past. Let me repeat this, getting the IAC, is very simple as long as you have a doctors note. My doctor has treated me for 8 years and it was like I was asking for million dollars to get him to have the girl at the front desk to type out a short note. My wife was able to go on line and with MyChart most everything was there about her medical history so I just downloaded that and it worked for her. If you have something stating your disability try that first. If they need more you will get a email telling you so. We are both in our 60s and not going to ride many things but needed this because some rides you can take the elevator with the AAP. Or at least that's what I was told. Sorry for the very long post but wanted to make sure whoever reads this understands the steps because I searched the internet before signing up and there's not a lot out there.

Some have not been very accepting of this but i see nothing wrong with this as my diasbled medically complex child id be requesting the accommodations for and if the previous process was being abused then there will always be upset parties or some looking way to into things. The q about whether you can stand in line with others confuses me if standing for any length of time is difficult. If someone has issues with anxiety there are sometimes ok to stand in line with others, but again not for any real length of time. For instance, my autistic nephew can do it for a short length of time, but not for any longer/ normal weight period, so what would the answer be in a case like this?

Love how you are honest about this! The process was quick, easy, and only beeds to be done once. I really dislike how other youtubers are misrepresenting this entirely, and trying to say that it is a "violation of the ADA" when it clearly isn't. Thank you again.

Does the dr give the note to you or do they send it to universal themselves?

When I went to fill it out it took me to a page where my doctor filled one out. Did you all get the dr to fill a page out?

I was told that even if im apprived id have to rent a wheelchair that I cannot push myself in (it wouldbe just me and a small child that needs a stroller) or rent an electric wheelchair and in both circumstances I'd still have to wait through the regular line. They told me no return times id have to rent a wheelchair or electric chair and wait.

We did online and they gave online card. There will still be a phone call before we arrive? Do we still have to go to guest services for anything once we get there? Was hoping to do rooe drop for Hagrids but if we have to go to guest services then that will blow that idea.

THANK YOU! I didn't know universal Orlando had started doing this (it's been over a year since I've gone anywhere). They probably had to do this because SO many people take advantage of the system. I know every time my husband and I went to Universal (we were Annual Passholders since 1999) and tried to get a handicapped spot in the parking garage we were lucky to get a spot 3 rows from the end of an aisle and 4 rows from the end. By the time my husband got my wheelchair set up and was pushing me towards the entrance there would be a group of 20 something year olds getting their stuff out of their SUV jumping around, shoving each other, running around like 5 year olds. They probably borrowed Grandma's handicapped placard so they could park there. SO many people who don't need it take full advantage of the handicapped placard. If they had ANY respect or compassion they would park in a regular spot. But not in these days. But you gave great information. The very first video I watched was from someone named Nicole. She had purchased an Annual Pass, and wanted to CANCEL it because of this program. I believe she was a "California" girl, in her 20's (looked perfectly healthy to me) and was angry at Universal ORLANDO because of that, they had too many roller coasters (????) and just talked about how disappointed she was because she had been to Universal Studios (West Coast) once. Then she spent 10 minutes talking about how WONDERFUL Disney World was. (I wouldn't go to Disney World if "King Iger" himself offered to take me around). When I'm ready to go back again ( or I should say "IF" I'm ever ready to go back. My husband passed away Jan 2022 and that was "OUR" thing, especially HHN) I know to get this in advance. Be safe...

But what benefit does the card provide? Do you use the express lane?

Does the app allow you to hold multiple passes on it ? Meaning if myself qualifies as well as me 3 children can I have all the passes on one app?

Hey!! Do you know if they contact the provider to confirm your documents? My doctor is going out of town tomorrow and won’t be back until the end of September and I’m going to hhn on the 15th 😩 I submitted my application today.

If someone with disabilities is in my party, but they do not have the special IAC card, and they do not want one because they do not want. A third 😂party to have information about their private medical info, or, receive tons of advertisements, trying to sell them stuff related to their disabilities, or have their address available to hackers or have their email and phone number available to scammers, even though the card, ensures privacy, we all know that nothing is private or secure today that passes through the Internet, especially now that we are in the age of AI, does the park still comply with ADA (Americans with disability act) ?

Can I use this card with other people in my party? Or does it only apply to me while at the park?
