Hello guys,
Today, I'll work on a st96 movement,
I'll use petrol, Elma and rodico putty to clean this movement...

This one calibre no96 if I am right this one was the famous and lead selling machine in my country Pakistan in1960 to80 before automatic machines.

Marvellous, but I hope to see a service for Swatch chronograph as how to remove the stem and crown, I saw all your videos and found no video about Swatch, It will be great job and great video Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, Removing stem method varies from movement to movement, I'm not 100% sure, but to remove the crown stem in some swatches, we just have to directly pull the crown stem with plier

I know this is a old post but I can't find much help with this movement and the problem I'm having but I did find this and was hoping you could help. What's going on is I can't turn the mainspring barrel after it and the rest of the train of wheels are installed. Starting with putting that center wheel and it's bridge on that turns feely, then I put the mainspring barrel and it's bridge on and all seems good. Now after I put the rest of the train wheels in and it's bridge is where I can't no long turn the mainspring barrel. All part are what came in the watch and it was running not very good but. All pivots are align and I can't see why this is happing. Should I not be able to turn the mainspring barrel after everything is put together just like all the other movements I have worked on over years.

That is right. Like in this video I started with the center wheel and after putting the wheel in and it's bridge it turns freely. Then just like in this video I put the mainspring barrel and it's bridge on and again all turns freely. Now I install the rest of the train of wheels making sure the pivot are align with bridge and at this point I can't turn the mainspring barrel anymore. I have took this part and have check this and that and can't understand what going on. All parts are what came out of the watch to start with and it was running but very poorly. Also this is without the pallet fork installed. Thanks for your time.

So the problem arises after installing fourth, third and escape wheel, right?

That would be right. Just like I have done on other watches before after getting the train of wheels in and the mainspring barrel in and all the bridges installed and without the pallet fork installed yet I have always been able to turn the mainspring barrel and watch all the of train wheels turn. As for the escape wheel I can see it coming into both the upper and lower jewels. @@watchwizard

من فضلك عندي ساعة pierpont نسائية قديمة ميكانيكية وهي بحالة جيدة واريد بيعها60000$ وعندي ساعة Sndoz قديمة رجالية ميكانيكية لكن في مشكلة بسيطة بالميناء ولكنها تعمل بشكل جيد 60000 $ وساعة sirgint بحالةجيدة 10000$ وساعة ام صليب قديمة يلزمها قليل من الاصلاح واريد بيعها 20000 $

No, this movement setting lever has a screw, which I forgot to put back while assembling barrel side bridge.

@@MrTech800 it was not broken, this movement setting lever has screw which i forgot to put back, so i had to open the barrel side again at 17:49 to put the screw back
