I'm so glad for KZfaq and Amazon! Videos like yours come in very handy. My Recliner latch just bit the dust today. I'm going to give this a try. I'm sure it's a lost easier and cheaper than buying a whole new recliner! Thanks for the video

Manually open the recliner from bottom for easier line placement

My recliner is so difficult to pull it out, like I need to pull it so heavy. Is it helpful if I replace only the recliner or the cable also? Hope you reply.😊

I didn’t replace the cable on mine and didn’t have any issues. Mine’s easier than it was before, since the new handle is metal. I’m not sure what the issue might be.

My biggest problem is that I can't pull enough cable to be able to work on it... I just can't figure out how to take it out.... it seems that there's somekind of metal tip/head missing at the end of the cable..... again, I'm unable to pull the wire out. 😞

Ya have to ask yourself...WHY do they come with cheap plastic housings that break, when the all metal replacements are ALSO cheap? Why not just install the good ones?
