I saw your video. I am an American living in the Philippines. My recliner was broken. I am too old to get on my knees and do the work so I had to hire someone. Sometimes Filipinos have trouble understanding my English. I am also not very good at Tagalog. But I asked a local maintenance guy to help us and I showed him your video. I had already bought the cable and after watching your video, he was able to fix my recliner. You sir, are awesome. Thank you so much. (As a side note, he has never sat in a recliner and had no idea it could lay out so far. I took a pic of him in the recliner and he was quite happy. lol)

We bought our Omega Floored Sectional (Bolero Pecan) from Havertys Furniture 7 years ago, and the corner recliner stopped opening last month. I called the store and was told the maufacturer closed down during Covid, and the store repair techs said universal repair parts would not work for this sectional. They told me the recliner could not be repaired and to cope without reclining or trash it. Well, I tried your advice anyway and... it worked! Thank you!
