I remember my father teaching me how to do this, must have been late 60,s or early 70,s. He did it the same way. Was licensed for both auto mechanic and autobody. I spent many hours watching him make auto body parts from flat sheets of metal. I am 64 now and regret never getting to learn it for myself. Watching you do this bring back some very nice memories of time spent in his little shop. Thank you ever so much..

Thank you for your comment, glad i brought back some nice memories. In some of my videos from back some time you se me shaping some body parts from sheet metal with only hand tools. You should consider giving it a try, It's great fun! I have similar memories of watching my grandpa repairing things in the wooden shed on the homestead with no special tools whatsoever, but steel wire was used a lot :)

What country do you live? I’m from Nebraska, USA. There is a lot of rust, making U-joints more difficult.
