Correct. Near shift and brake levers will be needed, as well as new cables and housing.

When changing a 40cm drop bar to 44cm, how do i check if my cables are long enough or too short?

Generally speaking, if you still have full rotational travel of your handlebars without kinking or binding at the housing stops or barrel adjusters, your housing is still long enough. i wonder if you can use a bountain bike shimano trigger shifter to a road bike handlebar

MTB shifters are designed for bars of 22.2mm. Road bars are 23.8. Additionally, the clamp design of the MTB shifter typically cannot get around the curve of the drop bar.

Hey, I´m new in this bike world. Can i replace my flatbar for drop bars in my Trek FX2 and if so, do I have to change the entire group? Thanks.

Not the entire group. You will need new brake levers that are compatible with your brakes (Linear pull) and built in shifters compatible with the rear derailleur. New cables and housing, plus tape, and some work.

I don’t have that fancy metric tool. Can I use a tape measure? Like the one to used to measure waist, arms etc?

You can. The thing about going to drops is that it can be costly due to the brake/shifter combo is typically expensive. If you go with bar end shifters or another style of shifter it can be done for less investment.
