Im doing rotors all around on my fwd b6 3.0. Pads looked ok on mine. Unfortunately my rack is going on me so im just gonna keep filling the power steering until she dies on me. Nice vid man my car use to look this clean.

My rotors definitely cannot slip back on, now that I had to buy new ones and they are thicker. Trying to take these brackets off, but of course you can only take them off with an Allen key, and they are stripped out and I can’t get enough torque on them. Heaven forbid Audi use a freaking hex bolt in areas where there’s going to be rust and corrosion.

Isn’t it recommended to bleed the brakes instead of using rewind piston tool?

Specifically because of ABS modules

Kind of a BS situation you're in, I'm pretty sure your cable just broke or popped off the handle. But unless you break off the door panel, it will be very tough. I had the same thing happen to my old B6 when the hood latch broke. Had to slowly remove the grill to unbolt the lock so I can open it. Another thing you could try is, roll the window down, remove the belt moulding and see if you can get a tool on there to pull the cable which is connected to door handle. Or to just see what's going on. Hope that helps you.

Where did you get the oem rotors. Brembo’s don’t slide back on like the oem ones.

It also depends a lot on if you have 245 or 255mm rotors. The smaller ones are 2mm thinner when new and they substitute a thicker pad so the same caliper works. I have a v6 with the bigger ones and the old ones came out fine, by fine i mean about 10x harder than these ones, and I'm curious if the new ones will drop in or if I'll have to take the bracket off
