Thank you so much for this simple video! I'm not a mechanic by no means, yet, I changed out the solenoid all by myself in less than 30 mins!!! The hardest part I had was getting the white clamp undone! No more check engine light! ya me! lol!! thank you!!!

Had the same problem.so I replaced the evap solenoid but as I was trying to push the white clip on the lock more loose it broke. Only reason I was forcing the white clip loose is because the evap solenoid and lock didn’t want to budge loose. But I got it apart replaced the evap solenoid and connected back with the lock but with out the white clip. Worked fine took off the check engine light. 2 months later getting same code saying it’s the evap…. Any suggestions it might be because of the lock not having the white clip?

This is the code my 2014 GMC sierra was giving I replaced the solenoid and that same check engine light keeps coming up for the same error code. Anybody know what’s going on

My truck is a 2014 Silverado v8. Backfires and pops out tailpipe especially when cruising down the highway at 50mph and especially when it goes into v4 mode. Got a code for an evap system leak. Already replaced gas cap. Could this purge valve be bad causing the issue?

Do you guys know where I can find evap leak on Silverado 2019-2017 trucks? P0443 and p0300 I replaced evap purge and evap valve then engine became random misfiring... I didn’t replace the charcoal canister

This is a gen5 intake, direct injection. This is different than most 2014 HO's that have the gen4 intake

My truck dies when i pump gas while its running... then when i go to start it after i pump gas it just cranks and cranks for a few mins... then eventually starts... what could possibly be the problem? Love the content man!

Easier said then done as soon as I tried disconnecting the hose pressing on the grey down it ripped part of the intake, for the love of Christ gm go back to making everything easier now it’s just sensitive plastic
