@talltravis79 Yes, sometimes they will actually break near the top or bottom, or even in half. If you look under the vehicle you can usually see where they have broke.

Thanks for the help! Looked at my passenger side link cause the wheel was in a weird position and sure enough the bolt was missing. Wasn't actually sure what it was called lol but I knew it was suppose to be there.

Been hearing that noise for a while. Changed the brakes and seen where the problem was. Autozone $15.00 and 45mins later done. Thanks

Great video, nice job. I choose to replace mine without removing the wheel or jacking the vehicle. It worked, but was very difficult due to the limited access. Next time I do one of these I'll take off the wheel.

I have the 2000 explorer, will the stabilizer bar cause truck to have what I have come to be known as the death wobble.

Great Video. Do you know if there is a way to just get one of the rubber pieces on the sway bar links. I noticed that on my passenger side, the top rubber piece from the link is gone (who knows for how long). I'm wandering if thats the source of the squeaking I've been hearing from my front end the past few months. My truck is a RWD 97 F150 lariat. Thanks for the help and the great videos. They helped me replace the upper control arm in my truck this past weekend.

i have a loud squeeking noise my friend says a tire rod or somthing of that nature when i turn right it will quit but ounce i straighten up the truck it stops

Dumb question: does it matter if the free nut is on the bottom or top when replacing? The original on my 2000 f150 1/2 ton 2wd has the bolt nut end on top, free nut on bottom. Thanks for your video!

found mine were broke when checking the ball joints, now time to replace upper and lower ball joints and control arms..then do my wife's car..that's my weekend..

I think I'm having this problem. When going down the road my vehicle starts swaying like it's trying to fish tail. It's random but it happening. Is this my issue??
