Excellent video! I used this video to replace struts on '12 Explorer XLT - the video outlined all the steps and it was a pretty easy job. Two of the nuts were very difficult to remove so in addition to penetrating oil I recommend a wire brush to remove as much rust, corrosion and debris from the bolts and stud as possible - mine only rotated freely at the very end, and for one I had to use pliers to grip the back side of the stud because I ran out of room on the stud and my 10mm socket wouldn't fit on the end any more. Otherwise the job went just like the video description. Thanks 1A!

I used this video to install this assembly. If you are doing this with a jack and jack stands, be aware that you may have to turn the wheel to one extreme or the other in order to get the knuckle back on. That was the hardest thing to figure out. Otherwise, excellent video. Also, be sure you have a mid-depth socket for the strut mount bolts.

Fist side super easy I’m stupid when it comes to cars and I was able to thank you just the other side I couldn’t bolts were locked in

My replacement struts have an arrow which I assume indicates the proper alignment of the strut. Which way should it point? Toward the front or the side? Thanks.

I just try to install my strut assembly from 1Aauto, and I have a problem with the sway bar bracket hole, the sway bar bracket hole did not align with the sway bar ,the bracket hole is a little bit low,I try to force it but it’s too much tension to my sway bar rod,I will return this product

good day a consultation buy my shock absorbers but the stabilizer bar does not fit in the hole is like 3/4 up I will have to adjust the shock oh the piza is not correct for my car

How did you fit torque wrench and socket on the upper bolts near firewall? I can't get in there without removing wipers/cowl(?) etc

I bought a set of TQR struts and Shocks for some reason the struts feel too soft and my Ford Explorer bounces up and down too much. Next time I’ll go with Monroe struts sorry TQR

+Denise Roach Thank you for your question! If you do not torque to the spec listed on this strut it could cause it to fail prematurely and require early replacing. It may cause poor handling and riding quality.
