How to Replace Headlight Bulbs 2019-2020 Kia Sorento Install (+LED CONVERSION)

Low beam bulbs size: H7

In this video I walk you through the replacement of your low beam headlight bulbs in your 2019-2020 Kia Sorento that is equipped with factory halogen headlight bulbs.
I decided to upgrade these with LED bulbs! I did not get to capture any night time driving shots. But believe me it was definitely a great upgrade in vision and appearance.

Thank you for this video and link for the adapters. Just bought a 2019 Sorento and the previous owner didn’t use the adapters so the headlights were wobbling all over the place. Just purchased. Thanks again.

i have a 2018 sorento lx and changed my low beams from halogen to GTR lighting HIDs i did have to lower my lights a bit as they were aimed to high from the factory but now it has an even better crisp cut off line

I'm using LASFIT LED's on my Veloster and my wife has a 2019 Sorento that I'm planning on upgrading as well! This video was helpful in more ways than one! I wasn't sure if I needed to buy the extended dust caps or take my chances and hope the wires will tuck in under the housing. That and I had NEVER seen that white fluffy thing on the dust cap and had no idea what the hell it was LOL!! You def answered my question there haha! Thanks!

It's most likely a dessicant pack, there to retain (absorb) any moisture present within the housing

What kind did you get? I ordered some from amazon that said they would fit and they did not. They didn’t have that connector that connects to the original socket

Well, you are a lucky man because the adapter doesn't fit with the led bulb base.

Glad the video helped you! Yes I did change it out with the FUZED 9005 bulbs. Completely plug and play no adapters required for the high beams.

Hello, Im trying to install a pair of Fahren Led lights. Very similar to these. How did you fitted the led base with the adapter and kept it from moving? Did you had to glue them? Thanks!

It was very tricky to get both in there at the same time. Using glue to hold them together would be a good idea if you can't get it without.

Do you have to align your headlights after doing the replacement? or this swap does not affect the headlights alignment at all?

It's good practice to check and make sure they're aligned after swapping to LED. But they won't be very far off if any at all just from swapping the bulbs.

Do you happen to have a picture or something of them at night? I was going to go HID, but of course ran into the dang issue with the stupid KIA design. With this video, I will end up going LED. I have been running Silverstar Ultras. Are they brighter? Whats the color like at night? White? Bluish White? Thanks in advance

I have a 2015 Kia Sorento SX I bought 2 different sets it led lights and I can’t get them to work!? I will turn them on they will stay on for a little bit then turn off. Also, on low beam on 1 will stay on and the other won’t? I tried reversing them (polarity) and still not working!? How is it working for other Sorento and not mine? Do I need to buy something else to make them work?

That may be an issue with the particular bulbs you are using or with your vehicles computer system. I would either try adding canbus decoders to them (plug and play) or trying a different brand of bulbs.

Seems really rare that an installation like this will show the (all-important!) results (ie projected light/beam pattern onto a wall). Really too bad...

Have u seen a way to adjust the up and down headlight position? My 2019 Kia ex headlights seem to be pointing down. I can only find a way to move them left or right. Thanks again for the amazing video. It will help me a lot. @mycoolshows

I haven't looked but normally there are up and down adjustments on all vehicles. m=It may look like a small gear on the back of the housing. Even possibly a small hole for access with a long screwdriver.

Folks you don't want to use LED's on projector beam headlamps. It will shine EXTREMELY bright to oncoming drivers. Plus, potentially burn out your bulbs. You can upgrade to a higher HID but stay away from LED's in projector beam headlight vehicles.

Most copyright free music is cheesy unfortunately. I don't like wasting too much time searching for the perfect song for a video. But having music helps entertain viewers for intros, outros, etc. This particular song wasn't meant to reflect on my ego whatsoever lol.
