(joking). Hi, I work for Epson. We spent over $5.9 Million designing this roller that wears out to be installed in such a way that you'll have to take apart 99.99% of the unit to access it. We had a hard time doing this too, it was very easy to make it so you could just unclip the rollers like the large roller but Steve, (good ol Steve) was able to find a way so you have to remove the screws, rollers, shells, rubber bands etc! All for the customer! We want to be sure it doesn't fall out, ya know? Seems very secure now. 🙄 *sigh* Venting aside, thank you for this video! Yes, I can do it but I'm not going to bother. Just ordered a new one but your video saved me a ton of time! THANKS!

my scansnap s1500 is grabbing multiple pages often and sometimes crumpling the paper, much more than it used to. Do i need to replace rollers? or is there a way to fix it by cleaning?

Is the machine gun like rattling sound when the scanner starts up (before a sheet is even fed) due to the melting rollers?

After I replaced the parts just like you. When I feed the paper to scan but it makes a loud sound. I have to push the paper down to force it to scan. Do you know what's wrong with it? Do I need to replace the other 2 rollers? Thanks
