This video shows you how to install rear drum brakes on your 2012-2020 Ford Focus. Even though they are an older technology, you still find drum brakes on the rear of many modern vehicles. Like disc brakes, the brake drum and shoes will wear down over time, requiring replacement.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Personally hate Drum Brakes. Disc brakes so much easier to change out. The guy in the video seems to take pride in his work. Great video.

If we want to get a good adjustment on the rear brakes after you adjust tapped the backing plate that will re center the shoes and then. Check for drag again repeat if you have to. I was a auto tech or neury 60 years. This always work for me to get a good adjustment.

Agreed on the lug nuts. I found this job very fiddly. The video was a great help so thanks. Think I'll be taking the drums back off as the handbrake still feels high. Found it hard to get the shoes adjustment bang on as, although hitting the drum home, it seemed the tightening of the wheel gave it that bit more and felt more free than expected.

This video is very informative! It's most likely my front brakes that are shot because I can see the rotors are bad. But I plan on doing the rear brakes too while I'm at it which is why I watched this since I have put over 60k on my Focus since I got it and brakes were new at the time. Also my co-worker recommended 1a auto and you recommend it too so I definitely plan on using them!

Did this and drums still wouldn't go back in. After all that then everything sprung out causing the wheel cylinder to gush out. Smh they make it look so easy.
