If links have plastic cores inside then it's easier to pop the ball joint out of the core by sticking wrench between stabilizer bar and ball joint and pry it a few times. Then it will be easier to get a better grip for vise grips on the shaft itself instead of rubber boot. That is of course if old links are destined to be tossed into trash can. I did it a few times already on Acura TLs and Honda accords.

Good of you to loosen those nuts the proper way, i use a grinder and lot of cursing to cut the link in half (in order to remove the sway bar) then grind and swear some more to remove the 2 nuts still on the vehicle lol

Thanks for making this video. It would be a good idea to replace sway bar or stabilizer bar bushings too. They're fairly inexpensive and clear noises.

Is it recommended to replace the linkage in pairs? And what if the nut is stripped on the upper part of the linkage? How can I remove this?

It's pin in A**. I cut it of with Reciprocating saw.

+Shahzad Tazam Shaikh Some of the common symptoms of a bad sway bar bushing or sway bar links going bad are: clunking noise, rattling noise, knocking uneven noise road, lack of stability when driving and noise going over speed bumps. poor handling during turns.
