Thank you for the video. I may be replacing my cadence sensor on my Lectric 3.0. The pedal assist cuts out from time to time and I'm thinking that it may be getting sand particles in there. The road to my house is quite sandy and I have found sand particles clinging to the area around my cadence sensor. Does this sound like a possibility? If so, any ideas on how to protect the cadence sensor from sand particles?

How would you approach this if you upgraded the bb an crankset . I bought a paselec gs9 an looking to upgrade but not sure about the fitting on this with the bb

If this sensor is knackered would it result in no speedometer until the motor kicks in cause mine won’t register anything unless the motor is running, is that my problem do you think, cool video dude

How much of a challenge would it be to replace a cadence sensor with a torque sensor?

Hi Ben, changing from a Cadence Sensor to a Torque Sensor is fairly easy, however, it does require you to also upgrade your controller box. All that needs to be done is remove the cranks, replace the bottom bracket with a torque sensor bottom bracket, swap your controller boxes, then plug it all in and reattach the crank arms. If you're fearful of face in butt, you can sit backwards. It's the way we ride on the jet ski, to pull a towed rider. (Have to have an observer or the coast guard will end your day!)
