Learn how to repot a houseplant with step-by-step instructions! There are some critical steps involved in repotting houseplants which I go over all in this video. One of the most important steps includes loosening the root ball!
In this particular video, I repot a cast iron plant (Aspidistra elatior) but the process is the same regardless of the plant.

Me too. As a child I ate all of the blooms off my grandma's prize winning rose bush. Spread each petal with icing and ate them. Pretty sure a mischievous aunt was involved 😂😂

I love how you just get right into it! I wish I'd watched this before repotting my monstera yesterday, it was super rootbound, so I hope I separated it enough. And thanks for the terracotta tip, that makes a ton of sense, so I'll start doing that going forward. Hope to see some new videos!
