Great video! I just bought a 124 Spider Abarth with driver airbag deployed. Having trouble getting the car to turn on. Any idea what might cause that? Some type of fuel kill switch or something? Thanks!

I removed the head set in my passenger side 2017 dodge journey I didn’t know there was a airbag sensor was connected. I plugged the sensor back in the light went off for 2 weeks but came back on

You’ll just need a scan tool that can reset airbags. Also, I know this comment is from 3 years ago, but other people might have the same question.

I have a 2005 dodge caravan. I was backing up and my front left tire bounced off the curb and set off the air bag warning light. I put my code reader on and get NO code. Is the front impact sensor mercury switch? Where is it located? Can it be reset by unplugging and re plunging?

2018 Promaster City with 2.4 tigershark. I wast tryinng to store some tools under my passenger seat and accidentally ripped some airbag seat belt connector. I reconnected, but now I get Warning Airbag service required or something. I guess i have to clear my code? Will autozone do this for me? What's the cheapest tool that can do this?

Great videos, I have a 2010 Dodge Journey, airbag light stays in, my mechanic plugged it in, and error code B1B06 was diagnosed, trouble code says “Driver Airbag Squib 2 circuit open” Can I turn the air off, status “active” Is this a minor repair, or can I simply have the airbag light turned off. Well this was stupid.. the scanner is a tool. I thought maybe there was a way to turn the key on and off, or some other trick to erase codes... I think you get kickbacks on the scanner manufacturer.

So let me get this straight.... You created a false problem with your airbag system by disconnecting a wiring harness.... You then *used a scan tool* to demonstrate how to diagnose the problem.... Then you reconnect the wiring harness, which results in the airbag light not coming back on because the "problem" is now fixed.... And this is somehow supposed to help people correct an airbag light without tools? I would definitely never bring a vehicle in to someone who created such a stupid video.

I think the point of the video is that various connections around the vehicle can come loose on their own from bumps, etc. causing the warning light to come on. By verifying this with the scanner and finding the loose connection you can fix the problem without taking apart your dash just by tightening the plugs correctly. Maybe adding tape to secure.

The horn on my 2012 Bmw doesn’t work, everything is becoming electrical so plugs or wires are getting unplugged like the van in the vid. Simple fix but hard to find.
