you are just good....i had similar issue...i suspected the capacitor but after leaving the genset for sometime it started supplying again...i discovered when the gen is used continuously for long hours,it stopped supply again..

Hope Generator coil is not damage? I mistakenly plug hot plate and also connect printer. It didn't stop immediately, but later didn't work again. Also I pure too excess black oil. What can I do? It is not working again.

I have exactly this gen .. i have been using it for years now suddenly anytime i on my ox fan the gen will stsrt misbehaving and off after .. is the problem from capacitor

Great video, please how exactly am i supposed to know which capacitor is good for my generator?... I run 5200CX engine 6.5HP Senwei generator.... Does every gen have its own required capacitor rating or any capacitor does the job?

Thank you very much, there's a new development... The generator was not supplying electricity yesterday as at the time i made my first comment... I did call a mechanic to come and fix it this morning but surprisingly, the gen supplied electricity normally when he turned on the gen to confirm it wasn't supplying electricity... It seems the Gen fixed itself just like that... The mechanic said that AVR is weak that it would go off again very soon, that it still needs to replaced... Please how best can you explain this situation? Is it possible for the generator to fix itself or do i still need to replace it?... Thanks in advance.

The gen didn't fix it self 1.Maybe there was partial contact between the AC plug and socket 2.Sometimes it is the brush,may not touch the commutator properly 3.And then could be the Avr Just wait till it happens again b4 making a decision

What if the generator has a voltage, but unable to carry load?

@@bencoinstitute did that already.....even serviced the generator....if I adjust and increase the governor speed, it will carry the load, but will be taking much fuel and will automatically off at some point. It's an SPG 2200 generator.... Anyways thanks for your time, will try replacing the capacitor.
