I need to root my Galaxy Tab A6 10.1 2016 with Oreo, but I just want to clear the Root Cache's I don't really need or want to change OS or anything like that; but I have moved everything possible to the SD and still have virtually no internal storage because its so old. thanks dude it worked. fyi: the no-verifiy-opt file is expired but you can just download one from the internet. one of my steps differed from what you mentioned. to instal magisk zip, the new versions asks for it in the app without having to do it twrp. thanks for the video. appreciate it.

Tech Alpha we apparently have a couple of bugs that some of us are dealing with while we Beta test your Root for you. Although it runs great for the most part some people are experiencing minor difficulties. I have provided a fix for the Samsung Security Agent for people to take care of the issue where the device ask users to reboot. And I have noticed it often doesn't charge while in use. In the Developer Settings the USB Configuration does not move from MTP to Charge, (I've tracked it to there). There seems to be a difficulty with going to Download Mode and yields different issues. Redirection to a locked FRP. I've tried to replicate the issue only to be locked into Download Mode and can't flash nor leave.This last issue can be a little more than minor and can you look into it for us. Thanks, it's still a great root and does work rather well. Samsung said you couldn't use CF-Root, on the T580, good job showing them otherwise.

Hi, I tried this tutorial today. As it fits exactly to my old tablet. But I have prblems already after the first step with uploading TWRP with Odin on the Tablet. It doesn't reboot into TWRP, I always end up with an Android logo and the message "No Command" in German (the tablet is set on that language). Can anybody help me?

hi is me again, magisk removes the root access to apps2sd and that's when apps2sd delete the linked applications, but when I open Magisk, the root access is on

it works. my question is we should not do any update on the device after this correct?

To keep the tablet from turning off when you boot, I believe you just need to go into the security settings and check the "boot from external sources" option. Remember, this is different from the OEM unlock option. They should both be turned on...

How about rooting without data wipe.. that'a a whole different thing than plain rooting. What good is it if you wipe data when facing a problem which caused a boot loop error which in turn made you lose files by reinstalling the android system. If you wipe data you may not be able to recover deleted files from the boot loop error problem.

It’s not working when I go to the Odin three folder I don’t see or at least that it didn’t up until now it did not detect my tablet even though I had a USB cable and I had developer options I had USB debugging and I have my USB cable in and I’m in the odin the folder I did everything you said it’s not working

I got this tablet 2nd hand with Lineage 18.1 installed - can I use this method to root? Been working with PC's for 20 yrs+ but Android is sooo frickin convoluted. So many restrictions & complexity. I assumed the custom OS would already have root and I could avoid this shit, but no, of course it doesn't.
