Instaling custom ROM Lineage 18.1 with Android 11 onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 10.1 2016 SM-t580. (gtaxlwifi, not for LTE version)
Here is what you need to download first.
Samsung USB Driver gsmusbdriver.com/samsung-gala...
Samsung Odin 3.10.7 or the latest samsungodin.org/#google_vignette
Lineage 18.1 androidfilehost.com/?w=files&...
NikGapps sourceforge.net/projects/nikg... i am using the basic version

Fantastic tutorial that was very easy to follow. this works for the 10.1 inch version of the Galaxy Tab A 2016 as well.

i have the same device as you so i wanna ask something. does downloading the rom delete your data? and can the rom change from 32 bit mode to 64 bit mode? i would appreciate it if you answer me.

@@anhtutrancat1048 Yes, it deletes everything because you're literally reinstalling a new operating system; Also i think it doesn't change the tablet from 32 to 64 bits but im not really sure

Where did you find 19.1 for A 2016? Did you install the galaxy tab A8 version or where did you find it?

Actually a nice thing, I've already flashed the Android 11/12/13 version of Lineage, as well as crDroid, on to my old Samsung Tab A 2016 / 10.1 / SM-T585. Unfortunately, no matter which version I use, the telephone option is always missing for me and this is elementary for me!

Thanks for making this video. I just flashed my tablet today and aside from some minor hiccups it went smothly. The stock OS was starting to bug out pretty bad and my tablet was out of storage from all the samsung bloatware. Is this the latest OS that this tablet is compatible with? I only use this tablet for a very low requirement controller app and with this update I can continue using it instead of the tablet being ewaste.

Nice step by step, mine reboots after the Odin step even though I unclicked the option, and then if I hold home+up volume+lock it just stays in the samsung label and doesn't go into the TWRP menu, I have to go into download mode and restart. Any clue why?

Hi, I was having some problems and the tab is no working at all... My problem is when booting from Download mode (after flashing recovery via Odin) directly into Restore mode... I press the same buttons but the Restore Mode does not appear. Just the Samsung name on the screen for hours. Suddenly the screen of the teamwin recovery appers but goes again to the Samsung screen in 10 seconds... How can I do?? I would like to, at least, have my android 8.0 :((

Hi, do you know if this guide will also work with lineage os 19.1? edit: it works with 19.1! but, just remenber to put the lineage os and gapps zip in the SD BEFORE starting the progress, also, my tablet for some reason the screen only worked using the stylus, so keep that in mind.

On my Samsung SM-T550 is HAD to use twrp-3.5.2_9-0-gt510wifi.img.tar as I did not have to OEM Unlock option. As soon as I installed twrp-3.5.2_9-0-gt510wifi.img.tar I had no more Failed and I could use TWRP. Thanks for this tutorial
