Finally! I have been looking at buying a FEL mounted mower but the dealer wants to sell me an AUX pump. I think for what I will be doing this will work just fine!

Been using one for a couple years now. At first ran it off rear remote, however there were issues for me. So i went with 3 point PTO powered power pack. Much better, no over heating of the hydraulic fluid and no loss of power after hours of operating. So if you are having any issues or concerns seriously look into a power pack. You and the tractor will be much much happier.

I did a couple of jobs where it did seem to weaken. I just haven't wanted to spend the money on a power pack.

What power pack did u buy? What did it boost the flow to?
@stephentooke17702 жыл бұрын
@@jayrich8059 I bought the power pack from titan industries. 12gpm. And it may not sound like a whole lot more than the factory 9gpm for my tractor but the increased performance was very noticeable. Especially when i encountered hardwood branches.

Thanks! Are they out of Wisconsin? What was the ballpark price and how long ago did u buy it. I appreciate your time, help, and the info. I'm in the market for one of these.

By using the rear remotes, does your stop turning when you raise/lower the loader? That honestly the only beef I have with mine working on the third function.

I'm considering buying the Lane shark but don't see any dealers near central OH. I was wanting to see if the offer different size and gauge units. I'd like to here some opinions on the durability of the units ?

@cademan04 what size hose did you use? 3/8th or 1/2 in? Looking to do mine now. And how long were you “whips”. From the cutter to the connection at the front end loader? Thanks!!

Cade have you attempted to use the lane shark and the standard 3pt hitch PTO powered bush hog at the same time?
@worldsokayesthunter2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I posted a recent video of me brush hogging and if you look closely you will see the lane shark doing work at the same time. Maybe I should post a video with that sort of title...I have about 2 hours of footage.

Where do you get the Land Shark and what is the price? Thank you. Great Video. And Subscribed.

Some tractor lots sell them. They are based out of Florida. Might be able to call them to find a dealer near you. I bought mine used. Paid $3k for it.

Yea didn’t work on mine. Not sure what I did wrong. Really don’t want to spend $1000 for their kit.

Do you have any problems with over heating the hydraulic fluid or running out of pressure? I would be doing this on a Kubota MX5200 and don't want to over tax the tractor. Thanks for the video.

I just ran the shark for about 3.5hrs straight this morning. It did good work and alot of it. I will say, however, now that you mention it, it did seem to be weaker near the end. Specifically I felt like my forks weren't lifting or lowering as fast. But it worked fine overall. I hope this helps. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your rig.

One more thing...I sharpened the blades because the first time I used it the blunt blades wouldn't cut flimsy green stuff. The sharpened blades worked wonders.

@@worldsokayesthunter Thanks for both replies. I know that there is only so much hydraulic fluid and you can only do so much. Such as while it's running the loader will move a little slower, the same with the curl function. You have given me some answers that only someone with the equipment will have a clue about. When I get mine I will be using it across the river in Ohio on Multiflora roses also. God they are a pain. FYI my wife got a DR mower and the commercials are true. If it can push it over it will cut it and it can push over a lot. She has fun with the MF roses where I can't get with a Bush Hog. Again thanks.

Great video and straight to the point, no waste of time. Exactly the info I was looking for right on time. With God's help my Kioti RX7320PC will be here Monday. I subscribed for the info given and the time it will save me. Well done.

Great detailed video on how you connected the Lane Shark to your tractor. Does Lane Shark have an external 40 gallon hydraulic oil reservoir tank that connects to your 3-point hitch which eliminates having to connect to a tractor's rear remotes? I'd like that type combination but I'm sure it's gonna be pricey as heck. Thanks. I just noticed TTF's comment below mine that addresses him using a PTO powered power pack. I think that's what I was originally trying to describe. Thanks again. Enjoyed a full-watch and NEW SUBSCRIBER to give you more subs. I too just recently got 1k subs. It took me over 5 years to finally attain 1k subs. Appreciate your video. 👍🏽🤠 4/3/23

There is another gadget to add to a tractor to run extra implements like the lane shark. I bet going thst route is better for the tractor(the hydraulic fluid overheats and the LS gets weak after a couple hours of running). But in my case, we don't use it so often that I felt I needed that. We are mostly doing maintenance on our hunting spots once a yr.
