A JPEG file is an image format that uses lossy compression. It stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group and commonly has a file extension of ".jpg" or ".jpeg". It's great to use if you are saving files for photographs or HTML documents and it also works with RGB, CMYK and Grayscale color modes! You can adjust the quality and format options (Baseline Standard, Baseline Optimized and Progressive) in orger to customize the file to make it right for your project. But be aware, any changes you make will adjust the file size!
To save your file as a JPEG go to "File", "Save A Copy" and then under the "Format" option select "JPEG". Make sure you have the correct folder destination open and have named your file. Then press "Save".
