In this video you will learn how to say German dates correctly and also understand why there are those endings. Of course you can always memorize these few endings and in the beginning it's maybe also the better choice. I would like you to make a video (if you haven't) about adjective nominalisation. I'm particularly interested in your explanation on how to treat the nominalised adjectives which do not replace the subject/object/indirect object. E.g der andere instead of der Andere, oder der beiden etc.

I would like to ask a question around this video. On minute (9.07) there is a sentence 'Wann ist das Meeting?'. Why we have to use the word 'Meeting' (english word). Why don't we use 'Sitzungen' (german word) like this 'Wann ist das Sitzungen?' Thanks you very much.

Es ist lustig. even the numbers have Nominativ, Akkusativ and Dativ. Also the reasoning for Adjective endungen. I knew the number rule but never defined it this way under these heads. Thank you for giving this reasoning. It's always very helpful to know 'why' than just rote learning. Ich habe am zweiundzwanzigsten Oktober Geburtstag.

Ich habe am siebzehnten Mai Geburtstag. One a side note (10:53) - is the 'day after tomorrow' really expressed as 'Morgen'? Doesn't that also just mean 'tomorrow'?

Whenever you can ask the question “when…” and there is no preposition it follows the accusative case: Wann machst du Sport? Nächsten Donnerstag. (Akkusativ) Or Am (Dativ) nächsten Donnerstag.

👍😊 Whenever you dont have a preposition you can ask the question “wann?” The answer is followed by accusative. Or the option that if you have the preposition am (an dem) its followed by dative. Both nächsten 😊
