a real apology is simply an honest explanation.. but sometimes we need to respect ourselves.. is that an understatement? lol.. if we don't respect ourselves, how would others respect us then?

I'm not sorry at all, in fact I'm very grateful for the way things have gone I have made mistakes as others have also made mistakes and that is the way we learn, if we are healing our attachment wounds.. then we no longer need to be driven by anxiety to be manipulative or abusive.. and of course, please... whether you have children with the partner or not, never tolerate abuse.. what do you think it's putting your children into.. get real with yourselves so that you can show your children what a healthy relationship really is, because as parents.. our job is to lead by example.
