NHL 21 is HERE!!!!!
Today I am teaching you the main techniques of scoring in NHL 21. If you haven't noticed, HUT gameplay gets pretty sweaty, so I figured I'd share my wisdom and hopefully help the viewers. Pay attention to the top 3 ways to score, and you'll be hittin' the red light district in no time.
Now that NHL 21 has launched to EVERYONE, expect more videos coming out this week and in the near future. We have some HUT Rush footage, some Full HUT Rivals games, and of course, many other tutorials on how to get better at this game.
I am so fucking excited for this game, I can already tell its going to be a hell of a year. Like this video and subscribe if you're new, because this is just the start of NHL 21! Please SHARE these videos to your friends and family, and anyone who just needs a good laugh. We're only a week in and I have that Money Squad rollin'!!!

Is it harder to score the shovel shot now since the 1.2 update? Because I never really tried it before this guide so I'm not sure how easy it was but now trying it, I maybe get %20 of my shots in from the hashmark with ovechkin probably even less then a normal wristshot it seems like

So in order to elevate or aim your shots, you want to point your left analog stick ON NET to where you'd like the shot to go. If you want to shoot high glove side, point your left stick towards the not right of the net.

@JuniorofaJohnny

Hahaha, yeah it took a bit for me to master. All you have to remember is put the puck on your backhand glide, and then snipe it as you would a regular shot. If you have a left handed player, bring your right analog stick to 3 o'clock, and then snipe. If its a right hander, move you right analog stick to 9 o'clock, and snipe.

Dumb question but as a right handed shooter, how do I execute a shovel shot? I've never heard that term before.
@JuniorofaJohnny
@JuniorofaJohnny 3 жыл бұрын
Nahh def not a dumb question,m basically youre gonna want to glide in on your backhand and just shoot as a regular snipe. All you do with a shovel shot is a basic shortside snipe, however you hold the puck out on your backhand. So if you are a right handed player, you want to cut in from left to right while gliding, and then shoot when you see the goalie move.

Dumb question because I can't figure it out. On your trick #2, breakaway/one on one. How the heck are you able to protect the puck like that? On xbox, if I press A, it's one handed. Not a bad question at all. It all has to do with the speed when entering the zone. I’ll be making a video on it this week on how do score with breakaways. So yes if you hold A on XBOX, it does that one handed protect animation. All i do With my right analog stick is move it from left to right to left OR right to left to right super quickly and shoot on that last move. I promise it’ll be easy to understand when you see the next video. I’ll put a link here once it’s up, or feel free to subscribe my friend

I know that I suck. I am not challenging any of this. Being a successful real hockey player, it is honestly so annoying playing, with non-former hockey players, but gaming hockey enthusiasts. Just the truth. Why? My stupid friends would stand at the red line, waiting for a friend and I, to play defense, which is so dumb, creating a 5 on 2, and then they cry and call glitching and want to quit. There are no glitches. Every single game, hockey, back to Sega Genesis days, had ways to score consistently, all knew them, but it is your job to stop it, not cry about it. Thinking of programmers, how does anyone program a game, without, moves that work to score, or maybe better, don't, let shooters shoot and weigh the talent of the shooter, vs, the talent of the goalie, to eliminate "moves', no glitches (stupid) and add a modifier, for a deke, or one-timer, to add to the shooter. How did we stop these moves that worked, former real players, vs gamers and it was easy! Just get in the way and the puck will hit you, it will block the shot, it won't count as a blocked shot, as the block shot, doesn't work. I know these moves work and that is fine and this tutorial is great. The reason many of us quit is the stupidity of the persons we played with and the crying about glitches, but they are not software glitches, just moves, programmed to work, thinking, anyone with a brain, would position between the shooter and goaltender. That is common sense, but not for former players, real hockey vs hockey enthusiast gamers, in my experience, a bad one, not on anyone else. 2 of us, would play defense, block everything by getting in the way of the shot, taking out the puck carrier, or dropping to stop the pass, maybe a one-timer. When games started to turn from the arcade-style, Sega/Nintendo, to overly realistic, it turned from fun to friends, freaking out, playing like morons. Thinking of real hockey, the demand to get back and defend was mandatory, if you wanted on the ice and this happens all the time, with idiots, many, waiting for a couple of persons, willing to play defense, while 3 morons on my team, wait at the redline for a pass, 5 on 2, then start screaming glitch and wanting to quit. No real team, would have 3 players, wait at the blueline for passes, make 2 people defend against 5, then whine that the other team is cheating. * This is a rant, of stupid people I played with, the game, but noticed, that persons that played real hockey, not them, had no concept of sensible play. Just true and the only ones to make up glitches scream glitches, scream cheaters, but it was the idiocy of players on our team. I am NOT, saying this would work, all the time, but it worked well and would have worked better, 5 defending 5, the same way, not 5 on 2, 3 morons waiting for a long pass to go score and wonder, why we lost all the time. Duh! The old Sega/Nintendo days, had moves that work, and the winner, was who could get them off, over, who stopped them best. 2 of us quit, playing with morons and this is sharing, if you are one of these morons, or, somebody playing with morons and programmers are thinking common sense, but it is not common. I thank you for this great video, with intent to try to play, one last time, with stupid people, still, likely, but if fails, done for good, because stupid is stupid, this may help some, block the thing, with your body, get back, hit the shooter, or try to block the pass, common sense, but I know, these moves are great. * My stupid, non-former hockey playing friends, could not grasp, sports logic and that became the problem, they saw 2 of us, playing good defense, would not help, stupid, then would blame others, freak out, quit, think of imaginary "glitches", like persons, slowing down internet connections on our team, what? This is for me to learn, try one last time, others must experience, playing with morons, or if this helps, playing logical defense, my offering to people, not hating of persons that have never played real competitive hockey, but common sense. If you know moves that work, make them hard, get in the way, hit somebody, play defense. Somebody has to have played with stupid hockey gaming friends, worse, as games, becoming, or trying to be, to realistic and they are not, but fun. * THIS IS NOT TROLLING ANYBODY, BUT 2 OF US, CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONES and we tried to encourage friends, to play defense and when they couldn't grasp the obvious, the whining off the charts, it wasn't fun. Maybe this helps, maybe insight, maybe an idea, me, learning from this great video, how to score and thinking, what opportunities to take away, so my thanks for this video, and if you are one of these annoying friends, play defense! All the best, be safe, great video! Sorry for the rant! It was so stupid, that many of us quit, due to stupid friends, but they all had one thing in common, never played the game, so defense, not obvious, or, asking stupid friends to watch, obvious strategy and non-stop 2 against 5 defense, really...there is no way, we were to only 2, playing with 3 morons, wanting to be scoring heroes, not wanting to play defense period. Food for thought, even if you disagree, but glitches are programming flaws, which these are not. Moves that work well, probably, but defend them, as best as possible, over, whining, sadly, not being able to convince stupid friends, real hockey logic, 101. Be well! Just an opinion and can't be alone and I respect yours, even if opposite.

Before anyone reacts, I KNOW I SUCK at the game but am working on it. Just noting the frustration of playing with persons that had no basic understanding of real hockey, having never played real hockey, knowing, this is a video game, but the frustration of playing with persons, that would be helpful to them, what fundamental makes sense, in exchange for video game help and no senseless freaking out, that ruins the fun, the whole point, fun. What I am really saying, not hating, is remembering learning games, in 10-15 min, even for those that never played before, hours of fun, many games, with a D-pad, 3 buttons, everyone thrilled to pieces, all thinking, better graphics, new rosters, better sound, music, simple, fun, but they note, an over-attempt, to be too realistic now, not fun anymore, or compared to old. This approach better: Would you prefer, have relatively simple controls, to play Madden 21, NHL 21, NBA 21, and Modern Warfare, or be married to one, because there are a million controls and people are married to one game. What do people prefer? It used to be, picked Sega Genesis, you could learn NHL, NBA, Tecmo Super Bowl, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and MLB, in one evening and people had an equal chance to win, even having never played. ** I am we are curious because we feel, everyone has to pick one game, marry it and forget the rest, being competitive at a few, good luck. Pure curiosity, no right or wrong. What if you played Madden for years and now learning all of this, to play hockey, or flip it, you are great at this, then invited to play Madden 21, with 100 controls and others have mastered it. Curious, what people love, BUT THESE VIDEOS ARE A MUST TO LEARN NEW GAMES, SO MANY THANKS FOR THEM!!!! I SUCK AT THIS, I KNOW, JUST CURIOUS, LOVING HOCKEY, LOVING THE POSTS, AND LOVING THE VIDEO, NO HATING! :)
