Ingredients:
1 - 1.5 lbs of raw shrimp
2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 dashes cayenne pepper
3 tbsp cajun seasoning
1 cup of flour
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix together 2 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp hot sauce,1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 dash cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp cajun seasoning in a bowl.
Pour the mixture over the shrimp and put it in the fridge.
In a deep fryer or shallow pan, heat oil to 425 degrees.
Mix together 1 cup of flour, 2 tbsp cajun seasoning, 1 dash cayenne pepper and salt & pepper. This will be the batter for your shrimp.
Remove the shrimp from the fridge, whisk 1 egg, and pour over the shrimp. Mix well.
Dredge shrimp in the batter and then add to heated oil.
Cook for 2-5 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
