I really appreciated your review and detailed flip through of this beautiful Charles van Sandwyk (folio society Ed) book. I've had my eye on it for a while, but this really helped push me over the edge confidently and I love it. So much so that I have since bought his whole Folio Society collection ( I can heartily recommend Mr Rabbits Symphony of Nature, its my favourite) and two of his own hand made originals Affairs of the Heart and Tree Whispers ( magical ). So thank you, this video was truly a gift at the right time when I needed poking back to life after a very difficult time and has sent marvellous ripples through my life.

Wonderful review. The sound the paper made as you were turning the pages was delicious! I’ve just ordered the book so am looking forward to having my own copy! I might even share it with my grandchildren 😉

From vancouver, my local shop has all sorts of wonderful cards, small things and originals that I believe he self publishes and they have that whimsical hand made charm

I love his use of gradient watercolours and inks. It's very relaxing to just spend time with this book! :)

I find the faerie realm fascinating. My review on the Secret Commonwealth (the original, not the new Pullman book) keeps getting delayed, but it will come eventually! I also expect a couple more from Brian Froud ;p
